JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Onshore & Ofshore Processing Plant
• Having hands on experience in preventive, productive and breakdown maintenance of all static equipment and rotating machinery used in oil and natural gas processing Plants.
• Well experienced in Crude stabilization unit (3 phase), Gas Dehydration Unit(TEG), Gas Sweetening Unit(MDEA), Condensate Fractionation Unit, Dew Point Depression Unit, Water Injection Unit, Gas Injection Unit, Unmanned platforms & Ofshore water Maker, Fire water Pumps, Seawater Lift pumps, Gas turbine drive Compressor & BoosterPumps and also worked ONSHORE CNG Compressor Unit for British Gas.
Gas Turbine:
• Running maintenance and trouble shooting of gas turbine
• Carryout combustion inspection (between 8000hrs to 12000hrs)
• Hot path gas inspection (between 16000hrs to 24000hrs)
• majors overhaul with vendors (between 32000 hrs to 48000hrs)
• Carryout compressor crank wash (every 6 months)
• nozzle changing at regular intervals
• inspection and maintenance.
• inspection at inspection holes at periodic intervals..
• routine readings inspection and etc. Make: GE frame 5, Siemens, Doosan.
Steam Turbine:
• Running maintenance and trouble shooting of Steam Turbine
• and renewal of journal bearings / Inspection and renewal of thrust bearings
• Checking clearances of journal and thrust bearings.
• and correcting carbon seal clearance and labyrinths.
• Checking the rotor blade tip clearances .
• and correcting that internal alignment of turbine.
• and setting the axial float of rotor. Make:Siemens, Mitsubishi.
Centrifugal Compressors
• Worked in Dresser Clark, Dresser Rand (France), Kawasaki Cooper (Japan) and NuvoPignone (Italy) natural gas pumping and Gas Lift Centrifugal Compressors with seal and dry gas seal system with various capacities.
• Involved in bundle changing, rotor centering, seal changing and bearing changing, balancing drum labyrinth changing, stage labyrinth changing, thrust collar fixing and its seal and lube oil circuit accessories maintenance.
Reciprocating Air & Gas Compressor
MAKE: INGERSOLL RAND, KIRLOSKAR, NUVO-PIGNONE, ATLASCOPCO.
• Dismantling and inspection of main bearing, big end bearing, small end bearing, cross head, thrust washer, oil pump gear clearance inspection as per OEM instructions.
• Cylinder side clearance, cylinder orality inspection and piston pumping clearance, TDC, BDC inspection, suction and delivery valve, opening clearance inspection.
• All these clearances inspected through the inside outside micrometer, dial gauge micrometer, bore gauge micrometer, filler gauge and lead wire.
• High-pressure cut-of switch, high temperature cut-of switch, oil pressure cut-of switch, water flow switch, and timer setting.
Pumps MAKE: WORTHINGTON ENGLAND, FLOWSERVE AND SHIN NIPPON & KIRLOSKAR.
• Handled numerous types and Design of Centrifugal, Reciprocating and Rotary Pumps, size of the equipment varying from small to large and working in low, moderate and high temperature medium including vertical pumps. Vacuum pump of diferent types.
Mechanical Seal
MAKE: SEALOL, JOHNCRANE, DURAMETALLIC,
• Worked on all type of seals including single and double and tandem seal single spring and multi spring bellow type and proper rectification of the same.
Gear Box
• Worked on all types of gearboxes. Attended Preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance.
• Done gear clearance setting, bearing alignment setting, oil seal checking and replacing.
Alignment
• Reverse Indicator Method
• Laser method
Fin Fans
MAKE: HUDSON, NUOVA PIGNONE.
• Replacement of blades.
• Measure and adjust blade angle, tip clearance.
• Adjust belt tension.
Valves
Service and operation inspection of all types of valve like:
