Network Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting for internal customers (GE Capital, Corp, Money, Healthcare, Commercial Finance, Infrastructure, and Transport). Striving to always maintain 99.99% network availability by proactively running site audits for various sites and coming up with advises for re-design, Fetching Design flaws and advising permanent fixes. Prime responsibilities include working on problem management tickets. A member of the L2 network team in GE-GIS, where responsible to give to find RCA and take corrective action of the problem within the SLA.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Handling network issues for GE users from across the world at problem Management level Users are majorly from ASPAC, US and EMEA regions
• Managing routers and switches configuration
• Major work has done to identify the issue and provide the cause and permanent solution to the issue.
• Proactively providing solutions to field resources to resolve the customers problems
• Troubleshooting the technical issues in routers and switches and providing technical support
• Experience in network & systems management, client server distributed computing, facilities management, capacity planning, performance tuning
• Responsible for monitoring the CISCO devices, responding to outages, and working closely with other Network Operations Centers (NOCs) and telecommunications providers to debug and diagnose network and circuit problems
• Responsible for increasing disruptions to related teams in a professional manner based on the Priority
• Providing immediate and advanced solutions in weird situations to resolve customer-visible disruptions at the same time
• Proactively involved in improving the processes and infrastructure by reducing the time and cost

The Main backbone router is Cisco 7600 series with 3700 series and 1760 series routers at distribution and access layers. The entire network infrastructure is being managed from NOC using EMS tools (Unicenter TNG and Cisco Works).
