Preventive and corrective measures for mechanical and mobile equipment along with rig machinery. Operation of various lifting and hoisting devices to install, repair and set up machinery. Studied the blue prints and schematic drawings and carried the maintenance procedure accordingly.
Also involved in various duties including- but not limited to- the operational integrity, maintenance, installation and removal of mechanical systems/ components repair and documentation of the offshore unit's system, EMD 645 Main Engines, CAT Engines( CAT 3516C, 3516B, 3512& C15), pipe handling system, rotary components, pumps, mud conditioning equipment, deck equipment such as winches, air winches, cranes and auxiliary equipment such as compressors, pumps and water systems, piping, fittings, valves and emergency preparedness equipment. The ultimate objective is to ensure that all mechanical systems remain operative throughout the operation making sure they comply with safety, regulatory body and test standards.
