I redesigned and helped deliver the "KFC menu, price and offer distribution" across 1500 stores in the UK, ROI and Romania and across delivery channels such as KFC portals, just eat, Deliveroo and Uber eats. In addition I also redesigned and helped migrate menu creation from Drupal based CMS to a fully headless CMS solution using graphQL .

As a result, the effort for menu creation was reduced by 50%. The KFC menu distribution enables KFC UK to rollout features such as dynamic store menus and product availability checks online.

Responsibilities: ¾ Design features for KFC backend, mobile and web teams ¾ Build prototypes and technical white paper for strategic product features ¾ Lead two squads - 6 developers, 2 testers and 2 product owners ¾ Create high-level and detailed designs for the sprint ¾ Help developers solve technical problems and provide guidance throughout the sprint ¾ Review code, tests and provide architecture approval for the deliverables ¾ Consistently presented designs to KFC UK CTO TDA and the architecture team ¾ Designed and helped build a streamlined CI/CD pipeline using bitbucket pipeline

AWS - API Gateway, RDS, VPC, KMS, NodeJS, Serverless Framework, Terraform

At HMRC my role as an integration architect was to design the APIs required and design the data model forthe 100s of integrations with the UK CHIEF system, DIT system and other critical trade systems. I also worked closely with the CTO team to build integration strategy and roadmap.

As a result I delivered approximately over 100 REST APIs which helped the legacy systems work in conjunction with the new HMRC trade application.

Responsibilities ¾ Engaged with HMRC departments during the discovery phase and contributed to initial high-level architecture ¾ Created Technical Impact Document covering project impact to the integration platform ¾ Participated in solution design workshop and contributed to CTO solution design ¾ Created swagger specification for APIs ¾ Created AWS infrastructure design and worked with the team to deliver DEV, CI and higher environments ¾ Evaluated CI tools available in the industry and created end to end DevOps architecture design and recommendation. Also created POCs for Kubernetes, Docker and Ansible. ¾ Created data map and ERDs ¾ Created schemas - JSON, XSD ¾ Worked with backend and digital teams to design field structure ¾ Triaged defects raised by programme test team ¾ Worked with product owner and assisted in business in end-to-end demos ¾ Reviewed and signed off test cases created by test specialists

Other responsibilities: ¾ Created frameworks and templates for technical design and API design ¾ Reviewed SDD and architecture decisions ¾ Evaluated products for the roadmap - created POCs in Mule, Camel, Docker and Kubernetes ¾ Created POC for microservice architecture using Camel, Java SE 8, Docker and AWS RDS Aurora ¾ Standardized development by creating patterns and identifying components for patterns ¾ Mentored new colleagues within the integration directorate on various deliverables and issues ¾ Created step by step guides for the deliverables
¾ Indirectly managed 2 scrum teams (8 developers and 2 BAs)
