Description of work done:
1. Implementation of the audit plan as per the scope agreed with client.
2. Plan and schedule audits to ensure maximum utilization of resources and coordination among the team members.
3. Evaluate the adequacy of controls, recommend innovative and practical solutions to remedy unsatisfactory conditions, improve operations and reduce costs.
4. Discuss preliminary audit findings with management, ensure they are addressed and presents final audit results to the audit committee for mitigation of risks and appropriate cost reduction.
5. Conduct special audit projects, investigation assignments, as requested by the client.
6. Review and approve draft and final audit reports from the audit team to ensure conclusiveness and accuracy in content and format, timeliness and that audit objectives are met and reports are adequately documented.
7.Keep abreast of intermediary results from audits to ensure that the annual audit plan objectives are met, required work is adequately performed and documented, and professional standards are maintained.
8.Provide guidance and act as a point of escalation to ensure assigned audit staff are led and supported properly to effectively discharge their duties.
9.Summarize quarterly audit results to support presentations to senior management and the audit committee.
10.Provide continuous motivation and on the job training to team members.
