Review cases based on FSA regulation, working on tight time schedules. Need to check archives and systems for proofs or any relevant information. Liasing with other departments for the completion of work and also arrange customer contact in case of any discrepancies.
• Studied different PLCs while facilitating their communication.
• Called upon knowledge of software, including: GX IEC Developer, E-Designer and Solidworks for model creation.
• Utilised a Mitsubishi FX 3G (FX3G 40MT) series compact PLC and a Q Series modular PLC (Q03UDCPU) while harnessing CC Link network for handshaking between the PLCs in the network.
• Checked connections and built new circuits as required.
The role requires involvement from the scratch to finish of designing, building, configuring, testing and commissioning of SCADA and PLC based Control and Automation systems.
Assume responsibility for project timescales, costs and budgets.
Keep all project documentation / system backups up to date.
Provide clients with technical support.
Utilised LINTools and iTools software.
• Managed the maintenance of a zinc metal production unit (Cell House) within the world’s largest combined vertical zinc-lead smelter.
• Project managed the installation of new components (flow, level, pressure measuring instruments) to support plant expansion processes and regular calibration and testing of the instruments while also preparing the BOM.
