Oversee and direct day to day Maintenance & Facility operations for two plants including grounds maintenance and upkeep; direct staff, processes, and activities to sustain safe, continues and efficient plant operations. Manage all key aspects of procurement of collateral items from external vendors following established Benefit Operations and supply chain objectives (logistic, inventory etc). Formulating & implementing clear procedures, standards, and technical ideas for performing proactive maintenance, preventive maintenance, and periodic repairs. Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments. Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards. Expertise in implementing cost saving techniques/measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in expenditures and work within specified budget. Maintaining ongoing communications with contactors, vendors, and clients.

• Trouble Shooting and Designing of Factory automation systems including installation and modification of new PLCs, Scada etc.
• Facilitating electro-mechanical maintenance of equipment and maximizing equipment uptime through planned preventive maintenance (PPM) & predictive maintenance activities
• Monitor machine efficiency, noting when fine tuning can be done to improve output and increase efficiency
• Performing testing, troubleshooting and installation of various Electrical, Mechanical and Pneumatic machines
• Preparing technical documentation for systems requisitions & performing technical evaluations
• Conducting companywide vendor analyses to perform supplier rationalization; performing research and meeting potential vendors to compare products, prices, and lease terms
• Performing supplier visits and executing technical discussions to check machineries before procurement
• Maintaining adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary; reviewing utilities consumption and striving to minimize costs
• Liaising with R&D to find primary and secondary sources of supply for all purchased components for a new motors, heaters, generators, compressors, and utility vehicles such as Forklift Trucks; also sourced and purchased special items needed for production/R&D and Maintenance projects
• Assigning work responsibilities, recruiting, training & mentoring employees and managing all day-to-day functions, and ensuring effective manpower utilization

• Administered repair & maintenance activities of mainly 1800 & 1365 UST Aluminium Extrusion Presses (Make: Cheng Hua, Taiwan) and associated auxiliaries including AC/DC Motors, Compressors, Furnaces, Heaters, Medium Hoists, Drives & so on
• Managed a team of 8 employees in the resolution of mechanical & electrical faults & problems to ensure 24-hour Plant Operations
• Executed day-to-day activities including inventory management, procurement of spare parts & machines, cost estimation, and project management
• Provided weekly & monthly project status reports to apprise management on the progress
• Implemented training & certification programs for HSE & maintenance activities
• Interfaced with Engineering and Construction regarding project commissioning & erection activities
