Reliance Communications is one of India’s Leading Telecom Operators
As part of the Network Operations Centre ( NOC ), and the Network Performance Analysis team, my core responsibilities were to monitor the KPIs and ensure that the benchmarks defined by TRAI ( Telecom Regulatory Authority of India ) were being adhered to.
I was also responsible to constantly monitor the KPIs of the routes carrying International Voice traffic and ensure that the SLAs signed with our International Carrier partners were being honoured.
I had to constantly monitor the KPIs looking out for issues which might lead to the degradation of KPIs and troubleshoot the same within the prescribed time-frames.
I was also in charge of formulating the logic of the various traffic reports which were required to be submitted to TRAI on a regular basis.
Being in-charge of our International routes, I had to regularly interact with our Service Assurance Managers and provide them with the necessary traffic and performance reports, which better enabled them to take decisions pertaining to the Bilateral agreements signed with our International Carrier partners.

➢ Major Achievements: ✓ Formulated the logic of the US High-Cost report which helped Reliance Communications' Business Teams to arrest losses in the termination of traffic to US High Cost codes. The losses were roughly to the tune of $20K per day.
✓ Awarded "Performer of the Month" of Reliance's Network Operations in March 2009.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
➢ I'm an active volunteer with the "TeachIndia" program.
➢ TeachIndia is a Corporate Social Responsibility ( CSR) initiative by the "Times of India" in collaboration with the "British Council".
➢ "Times of India" is India's premier media group and the TeachIndia program is an initiative launched with the purpose of teaching Spoken English skills to underprivileged youth.
➢ English being the major language for business transactions across India, teaching English speaking skills to underprivileged youth hugely enhances their chances of getting a decent employment.
➢ As a part of this initiative, I have been trained by the British Council as a Language facilitator and then I have used the skills gained, to teach Spoken English to many underprivileged youth thus helping them to gain employment.
Have successfully pursued Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) from the University of Mumbai. The University of Mumbai (known earlier as University of Bombay) is one of the oldest and premier Universities in India.
