▪ Develop and execute a comprehensive geospatial strategy aligned with Starbucks' business objectives for Store
development.
▪ Identify and capitalize on opportunities to leverage geospatial technologies for improved operational efficiency &
customer experience.
Spatial Analytics and Decision Support:
▪ Spearhead spatial analytics initiatives to derive actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
▪ Utilize geospatial data for enhanced market analysis, site selection, and demographic profiling to support store
expansions.
Geodata Governance and Management:
▪ Establish & enforce geodata governance policies & standards, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security.
▪ Oversee the management of geospatial databases, with a focus on data quality control & continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
▪ Collaborate closely with IT, Business teams to integrate geospatial solutions into various business processes.
▪ Provide expert guidance on the adoption of ESRI Enterprise geospatial tools & technologies across departments.
Vendor Management and Partnerships:

▪ Stay abreast of industry trends, assess potential partnerships, & recommend strategic collaborations to enhance
geospatial capabilities.
Training and Knowledge Transfer:
▪ Conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders to enhance geospatial literacy & promote best practices.
▪ Facilitate knowledge transfer on the effective utilization of geospatial tools & methodologies.
Quality Assurance and Performance Optimization:
▪ Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of geospatial data.
▪ Optimize geospatial systems & applications to enhance performance and user experience.
Iterative Development:
▪ Implement Store development GIS functionalities iteratively, focusing on delivering a minimum viable function in
each sprint.
▪ Use frequent feedback loops from Starbucks Business & IT to refine and adjust development efforts.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
▪ Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in geospatial processes and technologies.
▪ Evaluate emerging geospatial trends and recommend innovative solutions to drive business objectives.
