• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of on-board and onshore hydraulic systems for owned vessels, third-party vessels, and onshore equipment.
• Modifies hydraulic products and systems as and when required to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
• Supervise, educate and brainstorming to team of technicians while working.
• Prepare quotation to the client in coordination with Commercial Dep’t, making proposals, diagrams, material lists, and planning, etc.
• Supporting for all services & engineering activities relating to the Hydraulics Division inside Nico international.
• Providing services for offshore in emergency.
• Servicing and testing of hydraulic motors, pumps, valves, actuators and cylinders.
• Onsite commissioning, perform service and maintenance to hydraulic equipment.
• Workshop inspect the parts that require service/repair from the disassembled equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining service records and performing test-run of repaired machinery.
• Task of operating the hydraulic machinery and diagnosing malfunctioning equipment.
• Responsibility of evaluation and observation of hydraulic machinery.
• Maintenance of hydraulic Power unit and cylinders in ship unloader and stacker reclaimer.
• Planning, scheduling and documenting preventive & planned maintenance job in coordination with maintenance superintendent on weekly basis.
• Dealing with emergency, break down issues and repairs.
• Monitoring performance of hydraulic equipment in operation on a daily basis.
• Responsible for ensuring the continuous supply of cargo to plant from vessel.
• Reporting status update of machines and periodic maintenance sheet to the management.
• Problem solving for the hydraulic circuits for the customer.
• Designing hydraulic circuits and various hydraulic cylinder using Auto CAD.
• Assisting for servicing of hydraulic systems and components.
• Assisting for testing of Hydraulic power pack prior to dispatch to customers.
• Assisting manufacture of hydraulic power packs as per the design.
• Promoting Eaton Vickers and few other brands as HVK is the dealer to the same.
