As post graduate administrator, my work involved, among others:
- Market and advertise the program
- Correspondence with applicants
- Receive applications
- Select the qualifying applications according to criteria
- Submit qualifying applications to the selection committee
- Inform the applicants about the decisions from the assessment committee
- Inform the non-qualifying candidates about the decisions of the committee
- Inform the qualified candidates of the registration dates, time and venue
- Providing advise on the selection of modules to register for
- Monitor the students' progresses and advise the Head of Department for the possible supporting interventions to the needy students
As a lecturer, my responsibilities involved, among others:
- Preparation of lectures
- Lecturing
- Preparation of class tests, scheduled tests, assignments and exams

- Consultations with the students
- Discussions about students' performances

• Liaise with my superiors about which instruments to use in the marketing of the programmes
• Receive and handle queries and inquiries about the programmes, via telephone calls, e-mails, fax, and personal visits.
• Set dates and set up logistics for information sessions

• Set dates and prepare applications for assessment
• Communicate the feedback to the applicants by e-mails, phone calls and posting letters

• Receive/collect tests from lecturers and make copies
• Liaise with outside printers to collect and make copies of the tests
• Book test dates, test venues, invigilators, test books, and set everything in motion, and this every Friday from 17:30 for two hours or three.
• Handle application for credits in collaboration with HOD
• Handle cancellation of courses and request reimbursements
• Regular communication with my superiors
