To prepare an improvised and documented HSE Plan and other Safety Procedures for an
Effective monitoring of Health, Safety & Environment issues at the worksite.
To prepare site specific fire prevention plan and Emergency response procedure and ensure its
effective implementation through mock drills and recommend actions based on report
generated.
To prepare a comprehensive Health Risk Register (HRR), Safety Risk Register (SRR) &
Environment Impact - Aspect register (EIAR) based on the various aspects affecting the health,
safety & environment and to implement additional control measures to mitigate them.
To monitor the Pre-Task Safety briefing at site to improve Safety standards & to meet
requirements.
Attend monthly Client - Contractors Safety Meet to discuss issues related to Safety, any
change in current rules within the Work Site and to provide feedback to Sub- contractors.
Closing out all issues related to health, safety & environment in the work place in line with
management as a team.
Monitoring all activities on site and advising site staff of safe working practices and generate
reports based on comprehensive observations.
Investigate any accident occurring within the Worksite as a team and generate report based on
the observations and to take necessary corrective & preventive actions to prevent its reoccurrence.
Monitor & verify monthly safety inspection reports conducted by the competent persons at site.
Monitoring general health of employees, arranging and maintaining records of Periodic Health
Checkups and follow up treatment.
Conduct monthly HSE internal audit to verify implementation of safety procedures and follow
up with construction team to address the observations for improvement.
Conduct safety trainings on various topics related to Safety pertaining to employee’s nature of
work and the risks involved in them.
Conduct Weekly HSE meetings within Engineers & Supervisors to rectify any unsafe acts or
behaviors, to monitor effectiveness of the company’s HSE Plan and to receive feedback from
Engineers & Supervisors to improve Safety standards.
Providing Safety Awareness among the workers by displaying Safety Posters, Banners and by
HSE bulletins.
Handle other essential tasks related to Health, Safety & Environment as and when required by
the client.

Responsible for establishing and follow up safety procedures administering the Project Safety
and accident prevention in accordance with Safety Program prepared by him as per company’s
manual and contract specification.
* Conduct monthly safety meeting with the Safety Officers, supervisors and foreman and a
responsible representative from each Subcontractor prepare weekly Site meetings and reports
will be conducted for parties involved in the execution of the Project.
* Monitoring al the safety regulations, procedures and requirements to be followed by all
personnel, checking adhering to all safety rules, regulations and requirements of local
authorities having jurisdiction, while construction, checking all the working methods and its
compliance with safety requirements.
* The entire safety organization shall report directly to the project Manager.
Responsible for preparing all safety submittals vs. checklist, accident reporting etc. as spelled
out in the Safety program.
* Look after workers welfare, facilities, fire protection, first aid, fire watch, etc.
* Carry all inspection and take corrective actions in case of lapses.
* Follow up for insurance purposes, all relevant safety reports and post safety signs on the
Project
* Check all areas at least once a day for housekeeping and cleanup take immediate action to
ensure compliance with requirements.
* Ensure training is carried out for specific tasks, especially work of “non-standard” nature

Implements policies and procedures to assure awareness of and compliance with health and
safety requirements of the organization.
* Provides technical leadership and functional guidance to ensure regulatory standards are being
enforced.
* Ensures that quality control procedures are executed to monitor all aspects of regulations.
* Serves in a liaison capacity with the resident contract agency representative and other various
agencies engaged in promoting environmental safety and health activities.
* Drafts all necessary reports to federal, state and local agencies.
* Evaluate work sites to ensure construction operations are in compliance with EM 385-1-1,
USACE Safety and Health Requirements, OSHA CFR 1926 Construction Standards, Federal,
State, and local requirements.
* Coordinates audits of health and safety programs within the organization.
