As a business Unit Head of Kahroplast Factory Branch of MEMF in KFB Group of Companies, I am responsible for business results including
Profit and Loss, meeting the annual plans fiber glass products such as Feeder Pillar, Meter Boxes and Plastic Accessories for CT, MCB,
MCCB and Smart Meter etc.. and growth in the value for the business, and overseeing all factory operations in order to meet business
objectives, the management of daily operations including Engineering, Production, Planning, Procurements, staffing and R&M direction.
Managing and optimizing machinery utilization, manpower deployment, raw material usage and processes in a timely manner to meet production plans/target whilst minimizing production costs to improve margins and enhance bottom line contribution in an increasingly competitive and dynamic market.
To ensure the achievement of the 21 Molding plant production and maintenance plans by providing overall direction and leadership to the plant.
To ensure that strategic material planning processes are in correct place to enable operational and production continuity. Takes a co-ordinating lead, working closely with internal and external parties to ensure supply of materials is in place to satisfy production requirements. Able to deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet production requirements.
Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers with supply chain department.
To ensure timely delivery of high quality, within specification products to Kahrplast customers.

Production and Operation of plant and machinery for the tube business.
Responsibility for operations from receipt of raw material to timely dispatch of finished products in a profitable manner by setting and achieving quality and cost targets.
Landing projects and technological innovation in the tubes business with a view to bringing about continuous improvement in operational and technological aspects, cost control and quality assurance.
Collaborates with business unit head to finalize production plans for the Tubes Business and takes responsibility for adherence to same.
Takes responsibility for all plant and related operations to realize the strategic objectives and targets of the tubes business related to efficient, high quality production and cost control.
Monitors and analyses operational data related to production, operation of plant & machinery to identify pain and priority areas of the tubes business.
Ensures constant improvement of operational parameters through technological & process initiatives.
Finalizes formulation and leads implementation of all new and major technical modifications/ up gradation programmes within the tubes business in consultation with business unit head and the CEO.
Monitors the environment constantly to identify risks and evaluate opportunities, identify changes in the technological front at national and global levels, identify impact of these changes on tubes business.
Identifies areas of conflicts and bottlenecks and focuses on removing the same.
Takes responsibility for people development initiatives and building up of in- house capabilities aimed at succession planning for potions reporting to the incumbent.
Takes initiative to promote culture of cost, quality, and timeliness across shop floors in the tubes business.
Interacts with all employees on regular basis to understand their key concerns and discusses these with business unit head to facilitate development of systems and policies that are enabling.
