- Procuring a variety types of material such as wood, safety, electrical, furniture Aluminium Profiles & equipment locally and internationally.
- Review requisition orders in order to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
- Evaluate all quotes and coordinate with vendors to provide required component bids and analyze all vendor performance to improve all purchasing processes.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with all suppliers.
- Contact and negotiate with local and international suppliers on price and delivery terms to reduce inventory levels and cost.
- Calculating costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.
- Sourcing new vendors for different required material in both sites Kuwait & KSA
- Developing and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Nominating freight forwards for the shipments after analyzing tendering process
- Doing pre-shipment follow up with the vendors and forwarders to ensure the shipment process are managed properly
- Administer everyday activities of all purchasing staff and monitor all purchasing activities and design various cost-effective methods according to demands.
- Tracking the shipments and updating the events in the system
- Resolving payment issues with the suppliers and finance for both local and international suppliers
- Negotiating the suppliers to get the best price and the best payment method based on the company policy for payment terms (30 days’ net, CAD, PDC, LC or advance payment)
- Following up with the supplier and the forwarder to arrange the shipping documents
- Preparing purchase orders "Local & Foreign" and send copies to suppliers
-Comparing prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
-Nominating freight forwards for the shipments after analyzing tendering process with the best prices.
-Tracking the shipments and updating the events in the system
-Negotiating the suppliers to get the best price and the best payment method based on the company policy for payment terms (30 days' net, CAD, PDC, LC or advance payment)
-Following up with the supplier and the forwarder to arrange the shipping documents and making sure they are attested from the local chamber of commerce, also making sure the forwarder is ready to clear the shipment with the exact approvals based on the HS code of the material so we can get the approval once it reaches Kuwait from (PAI, EPA, MOI, MOC).
-Work closely with the WH to ensure correct in-warding of stocks as well as clear any other issues in the process. Research and identify new products and services for the hotel in the market & always keep a backup plan
-Administer everyday activities of all purchasing staff and monitor all purchasing activities and design various cost-effective methods according to demands.
- Preparing purchase orders “Local & Foreign” and send copies to suppliers
- Handling the day-to-day activities of the Procurement department.

- Coordinate with finance for invoice and payment assignments
- Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and order and assist in the evaluation of new suppliers.
- Contract suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries .and other problems.
