• Boats and Vessel:
1. Reviewing field research Plan with the requester
2. Coordinate with Government affairs, security and for Vessel Cruise or any operations that related to Ops Boats.
3. Coordinate with KAUST marina and marine security for navigation and field trip inside KAUST water.
4. Coordination the daily trips with Coast guard before the trip.
5. Booking and Issue the sailing permit
6. Arrange all logistic operations for the boat before each trip with the assigned Skipper.
7. Reporting to supervisor for any malfunction emergency of the boats that need immediate action for Small Boat and Vessels.
8. Weekly inspection report for the boat and other activity.
9. Lab safety Representative for RV Thuwal by conducting checklist for the equipment on board the Vessel
• Maintenance:
1. Monitor auto database generated email reminders of calibration/PM of all equipment
2. Supervise the Job card that request for the Vessel and small Boats.
3. Scheduling, arrange and supervise the Maintenance activity for the RV Thuwal and Small Boats.
4. Working with the mechanistic to order all spare parts and consumables.
• Procurement and contractor :
1. Forecasting and monitoring the ordering of CMOR requirements considering proper lead time and cost
2. Carrying out vendor localization for curtailing costs of materials as well as negotiating the terms of credit with vendors as well as the cost of material required
3. Issuing the Shopping cart for the items that need to be purchased for operations.
4. Procuring supplies, parts and equipment from various vendors across local and foreign markets.
5. Responsible for managing and complete handling/follow-up of export/import assignments and preparing commercial invoices, packing list, purchase requisitions / budgetary quotes/ spare
6. Petty cash for expenditure on small items
• Logistics and Operations:
1. Ensure implementation of all QA/QC protocols for all marine requirement (Crane, Forklift and vehicle).
2. Assist the Staff for any Marine operations need it.
3. Coordinate and provide the laundry, fuel and food for Vessel and small Boats.
4. Review all invoices that related to Ops. (Laundry and fuel and food for Vessel and small Boats).
5. Arranging indoor and outdoor material handling and transportation services, and loading/unloading of shipments after ensuring proper documentation.
6. Developing logistics network for seamless, cost-effective movement of consignment and timely deliveries.
• Administration and Reporting
1. Assist the Marine Operations & Pier, supervisor for the Ops budgeting.
2. Daily report for MOps operations.
3. Prepare monthly report KPI for the marine operations.
4. Charge to the Badger system
5. Safety inspections for the Building
6. Archive all Ops information and Data.( POs, Services Report, Invoices, …etc)
