 Participate in design meetings and provide continual input to optimize design and minimize futile work.
 Assist in developing Design Delivery Schedule along with client, Project Manager, Design Managers and consultants.

 Develop comprehensive scope-of-work and contract document deliverables list for each related discipline.

 Negotiate scope-of-work, deliverables and price with consulting firms.

 Assist Project Manager in incorporating onto D&C running sheet all internal and external design and cost issues.

 Manage distribution and production of project workload within team.

 Collaborate on new design issues and research projects with team.

 Ensure projects and finished graphics are accurate and precise.

 Manage and maintain record keeping of original artwork files and all projects.

 Project prioritization of design, assignment and management to designers.

 Lead with effective supervision an experienced design team toward greater creativity.

 Evaluate and motivate designers toward continued growth and leading design solutions.

 Participate in departmental strategic planning.

 Assist technically internal and external customers.

 Establish written scope of work and initial project.
 Working alongside client and design team to develop programming schedules.
 Conceptualize mood or theme boards for interior concepts.
 Develop sketches, key master planning and perspectives for the concept design/s.
 Using the skills and experience developed as an interior designer.
 Preparation of conceptual design and master planning for initial concept presentation.
 Manage the selection and production of full ff&e presentation boards
 Presenting to client/s and subsequent design development presentations.
 Manage the interior design team on project detailing, site management and co-ordination on-site, as and when required.
 Provide the design team and technical office with working designs; to provide cad and hand drawn details, perspectives and other renderings that will document the complete project/s.
 To choose the appropriate ff&e items from the all sources including the id library, in conjunction with the ff&e designer and the id team.
 Manage the selection and production of full finishes, ironmongery and sanitary ware schedules.
 Inspection, pre- qualification and approval of manufacturers and suppliers.
 Review of all manufacturers and suppliers shop drawings, finishes, samples, prototype samples, seaming plans etc.
 Liaison with appointed sub- consultants such as lighting, graphics, landscaping to ensure the overall design concept is carried through.
 Manage and take responsibility for the project and site management of the interior design components requiring full and detailed site supervision; including all ff&e items, casework and quality control of finishing throughout the project.
 Manage the close liaison with manufacturers, contractors, purchasing agent and client to ensure all items to be rectified for client sign off are carried out by an agreed date.

 Assist in the procurement of the project’s consultants by providing a short list of consultants and conduct a Pre- qualification interviews
 Prepare Request for Proposal to the prequalified consultants
 Review the Technical and commercial proposals submitted by bidders and make recommendation
 Review the design documents at each stage to ensure compliance with client requirements
 Advice the consultants on the result of their submissions and any required amendments


 Co-ordinate and monitor all design consultants, Conduct weekly design meetings and prepare minutes for distribution
 Prepare monthly design statues reports showing program Design budget, paid to date and forecasted Payments
