• Accounting functions: supervise Chief Accountant and accounting sub-department all various functions, capitalization, tax functions, and annual financial statements reviews and audit.
• Control function: compliance to all regulatory and internal control policies in addition to supervision to Plant Controller’s functions.
• Budgeting & Reporting function: lead periodical reports (cash flow, balance sheet, P&L, depreciation, assets register) and budget preparation and benchmarking.
• Treasury function: oversee via treasury sub-department all payments processing, insurance coverage, credit management, bank relations, short term and long-term financing.
• IT function: Work with the CEO on implementation of business and cost modules and support integration of ERP on critical functions.
• Preparation of forecasts and annual budget and ensuring strict adherence to it.
• Monitoring expenses, cost drivers, and plant’s invoices and consultation to top management on cost reduction initiatives.
• Controlling capital expenditures
• Supervision on daily production plan and the preparation of monthly operational results report.
• Responsible for internal controls at the plant for raw material, dispatch of products, and access to plant and alignment with HR procedures.
• Ensuring the accuracy and the guarding of the physical inventories through physical counts and the establishment of SOP’s.
• Supervision of warehouse stocks & issuance.
• Working with project controller in budget, costing, LC amortization, and certificate of performance of the second production line of grey cement worth 1.4 Billion SAR
• Monthly reporting on fixed assets movement, overall depreciation, Property, plant & Equipment report and Fixed Asset Registrar.
• Tracking, booking, and amortizing Letter of Credits.
• Assisting with the end of the year physical count and auditing of books.
• Supervision on the Implementation of fixed asset tagging project (three stages project).
• Face to face services to business’s owners and representatives.
• Internal auditing of receipts and check orders.
• Assisting with the end of the year auditing of books.
• Ensuring employee’s monthly payments for Civil Service retirement and GOSI retirement and deductions through court orders.
• Consultation to top management through financial reports on the
company’s ownership position in the private sector.
• Assisting top management in periodical and annual statistical reports.
• Participating in the quarter-yearly business owners seminar as a lecturer.
• Part of the employee’s training committee.
• Bookkeeping using Great Plains Dynamic Microsoft ® System.
• Internal auditing including cash balances and funds balances.
• Supervision of sub-tenant invoices, vendor payments, and cost allocations to various projects.
• Payroll duties and assisting year end external audit.
• Marketing and outreaching to potential affluent market investors.
• Arranging meetings with new clients and introducing them to all potential financial investments performed by the company.
• Performing financial planning and running computer-generated investment portfolios.
