• High Speed rail project with Siemens, Orascom Construction and Arab Contractors Consortium for the Construction of 250 KM high speed rail (Green Line) network all over Egypt with Ministry of Transportation and National Authority of Tunnels
• Systems under responsibility: Installation of Signaling - SPDM (SCADA, Centralized Control System, TRAFFIC, TRACTION, Power supply HV - MV- LV), OCS Over Head Catenary System, All MEP (FF, HVAC) works, TELECOM starting from design phase until put into service.
• Managing E/M works in the project and be sure all the interfaces & integration process is in place.
• Review the combined Integration procedure based on the contractors and operator integration process.
• Manage all the E/M systems to deliver the project on the determine date by the employer.

• The Project director or the Project Portfolio Manager ensures flawless execution of projects and drives resolution of project issues in the portfolio. Manage all contracts under responsibility of the portfolio in order to deliver scope as contracted and within the budget while seeking for optimum margin and customer satisfaction. Engage with customers concerning projects execution topics when required. Ensure that correct networks are established to other functions to support rapid resolution of any execution issues. Drive PM development plan ensuring required competence and skills of Project Managers are adequate and that Project Managers are accountable. • The Project Manager responsibilities include working closely with PMO to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, time frames and budgets for projects. Perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries. Expected to have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines

Communicating and reviewing project status with all project stakeholders.
Effective management of the project to ensure Alstom fulfillment of Quality - Cost - Delivery commitments in accordance with corporate policies. Responsibilities include:
•Customer Interface Coordination: Leading all discussions with the client to facilitate closure of technical customer comments with support from the engineering team at Paris. Liaise with S. Ouen to get required documentation and technical feedback, review content in line with customer expectations and submit through formal channels. Coordinate technical reviews, take actions and minutes. Discuss and present technical arguments with fluency and confidence.
•Consortium Coordination: Representing Alstom in the daily activities within the Consortium. Coordinate with civil engineers and other partner, attend progress meetings, track open items and escalate critical issues to senior managers within consortium.
•Responsible for invoicing and schedule payment: Manage all invoicing submissions, check for completeness and correctness. Review the certification process with client to ensure approval of all invoices.
•Review and update the customer schedule, ensuring correct and accurate representation of progress, providing feedback to core team on progress from other consortium partners when needed.
•Commercial support & document control: Ensuring all communications are submitted and distributed to the relevant parties. Ensuring all documents are stored correctly for future retrieval.
•Manage Customer KPI development, management and update.

ALSTOM Transport for Cairo ATC On-Board TIS-Operation.

- Put in place an integrated team whatever the sites involved, with a regular presence in Saint-Ouen.

• Empower the team-leaders to be self-independent, creative to improve their performance personally and their groups, in terms of attitude, performance, profitability, highlight the team spirit and be more familiar with Alstom tools.

at ALSTOM Transport for the Maintenance contract of SDM Signaling, Driving Modes and Centralized Control of Cairo Metro Line 2.

• Ensure the contact point for all day-to-day communication between the customer and ALSTOM.
• Attends all customer meetings; such as but not limited to; Technical coordination meetings, monthly follow-up meetings.
• In charge of all the official communication, documentation and monthly progress reports to the customer.
• Follow-up and solve any issues related to delayed customer payment.
• Regular update on Project progress to Customer Director and Country President.
• Manage project team members’ performance, development and evaluation and any other personnel issues.
• Coordinate with the site departments in preparing and obtaining work permits and to ensure that the job at site is carried out in compliance with all safety rules and precautions.
• Maintain a good record of all the documentation related to the projects undertaken.
• Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the existing systems in terms of obsolescence, spares availability, vendor support and to keep abreast of the new developments, in order to apply a judicious analysis of the various alternatives to arrive at optimum solutions for effective support to the company operating divisions.
• Negotiating with the client systems engineers for systems comments and upgrades and performing the necessary changes required.

at Invensys IPS Rail group (KY, Louisville, USA)

• It is a low-cost engineering center located in Cairo, designing the software for the Rail projects around the world especially in the USA using a certain hardware product for the crossing called GCP4000 (Grade Crossing Pre-detector 4K, which is a warning system) and for monitoring and controlling of the Switches and wayside signals called GEO (Geographical Signal System). This Product is from Invensys, Safetran Company, it is the first supplier to integrate subsystems into CBI (Computer Based Interlocking).
• Direct and manage multiple concurrent engineering projects while ensuring their success in meeting their respective objectives.
• Implement approved engineering budgets and monitor actual expenses to ensure they fall within budgets, analyzing out of budget expenses and ensuring they are offset in other areas of the project unless fully justified.
• Consult or negotiate with clients to finalize engineering project specifications.
• Negotiate with engineering suppliers to get the best business deals.
• Present engineering plans, progress status updates and stationers to the project.
• Perform administrative and oversight functions in approving proposals, expenditures, enforcing policies and managing engineering human resources

•Participated in the study, analysis and selection of SCADA offers (in the form of closed envelopes, Reverse auction, Biding Doc.), tender documents for communication between substations and the main station, dealing with different telecom manufacturer’s equipment interfaces, provide configuration, testing and commissioning services.


Training

•Training at Invensys Rail Group, Safetran Systems Co. KY, Louisville, USA.

•Performed a training program to 4 engineers from the Egyptian National Authority for Tunnels (NAT) and Cairo Metro Operation Organization at Alstom’s premises in Massy, France. The trainees were trained on the SCADA, traffic and traction Centralized Control system of the Cairo Metro Line2.
