Key Responsibilities:
Retail Sale and Service
• Responsible for retail sales and servicing of all consumers electronic, home appliance and communication solutions
Products.
• Maintain excellent long term customer relationship by initiating proactive dialogues to address their questions and
Register complaints related to products, services and after-sales services and ensure timely resolution.
• Train the call centre employees to identify customer requirements for new products, services and inform customers about

• Conduct customer satisfaction surveys to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses and implement time-bound action
Plans focused on areas of improvement.
• Ensure availability of adequate inventory of all products in stores and their methodical display for proper merchandising.
• Review stock holding of all products in each store, brand-wise to identify dead and slow moving stocks for their clearance
Sale with discounts and as a package deal in combination with other products.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure that stores are complying with company approved standard operating procedures.
• Interact with all section heads proactively to identify areas of improvement for achieving company’s sales and service
Targets and growth plan.
• Identify opportunities for opening new stores and service centers by conducting market surveys and promotion events in
Uncovered new areas.
• Initiate steps to acquire knowledge about new companies and new product launches by attending trade shows, studying
Trade journals and advertisement and interacting with product managers of existing vendors.
• Conduct merchandising programs using product selection, packaging, display and pricing including discounting to
Encourage consumers to finalize buying decisions.
Human Resource Management
• Recruit manpower as per actual requirements, organize suitable induction programs and plan employee specific
Training and development plan as per company’s policy.
• Conduct ongoing and semi-annual performance appraisals of all employees and provide performance feedback to
Individual employees maintaining professionalism and confidentiality on performance improvement recommendations.
• Identify promising employees through performance appraisal system and chalk out training, development and growth
Plan within the company.
• Recommend promotion, monetary rewards and recognition to employees exhibiting exceptional performance as per
Company’s policy and promotion criterion to retain good performers and maintain manpower stability.
• Maintain harmonious relationship with all employees, excellent hygienic and safe working conditions so that they are
Highly motivated to achieve performance goals.
• Counsel non-performing employees in one to one interviews highlighting specific areas of performance improvement and
Initiate appropriate disciplinary action for those employees, who are not able to meet acceptable performance standards,
Maintaining confidentiality.
• Administer proper duty roster of employees in all sections of showroom, stores and warehouses to ensure manning as per
Their working hours, including peak time requirements.
Financial Management
• Provide inputs with product wise, zone and stores wise sales and service targets to finance department for preparation of
Company’s annual budget.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual sales budget; administer financial management policies to ensure robust P & L
Management and apply cost management techniques.
• Monitor actual performance on continuous basis compared to budgets; analyze financial reports for deviations from
Targets and initiate corrective timely actions for achieving targets and exceeding the same, wherever possible.
