 To direct & control the usage of warehouse facilities to ensure the maximum use of available space and that requesting, reception, storage and dispatch of materials is consistent with efficiency and profitability in information & value flow.
 Enhancing all aspects of Supply Chain Management including procurement, logistics, contract administration, resource planning, and inventory management to ensure the quality and efficiency of SCM operations and also the accountability throughout the supply chain.

 Developing a workflow and for staffing plans to ensure all import shipments are executed and duties are tendered timely.
 Ensure that the import and local procurement operations meets service commitments, revenue, and profitability goals & KPI’s as outlined by company policy and budgetary requirements.

Some of my duties were:
 Manage and maintain regional demand management planning.
 Establish and maintain the regional suppliers’ database.
 Ensure the effective functioning of the ad hoc specification committee.
 Facilitate regional participation in new and existing transversal term contracts.
 Manage the Regional Supply Chain Management function.

 Follow up Customs & Import Shipping Documents compliance & overall activities.
 Insure that company various customs books are kept in consistency with customs regulations.
 Attending customs audits to make sure that company records are clean of any violations.
 Manage drawback & Provisional Entry processes, books & refunds.
 Insure the right customs categories allocation & HS code conformity.
 Oversee the timely delivery of Materials to all factories.
 Achieving the most successful strategies to deliver the requested goods or components till its final destination.
 Maintains co-ordination with Suppliers, Forwarders, Clearance agencies and other departments (such as Purchasing, Finance, Marketing and R&D).
 Participate more than four times in the annual inventory count for Regional Product Unit and Regional Equipment Unit, also solving the variation problems after the stocktaking which enhances my warehousing skills in a remarkable way.
 I was appointed as “5S Project Manager” for the Regional Product Unit (RPU) as an additional task to my duties, and the company gets the excellence rank in this project from the ISO commission and Schneider Electric France (Head Quarter).

Some of the responsibilities were:
 Assist in all the importing activities in all stages & monitoring till the shipping circle is completed.
 Updated shipments documents and maintain all logistics records.
 Settle all shipments details with forwarders and custom clearance agencies till it reaches the stores.
 Maintain Import & Customs Shipping Documents stratification & overall documents conformity activities (such as LC & LG).
 Make sure that company records are clean of any violations by attending and sometimes asking for customs audits.
 Insure that company various customs books are kept in uniformity with customs
 Receive purchasing plans from the planning dept. and studying it with the sales & production plans to be divided into quotas.
 Send inquiries to the selected suppliers, obtain RFQ’s, prepare competitive statement and obtain approvals to issue purchase orders.
 Monitoring till we receive the order confirmations or acknowledgments and settle the payments terms, and review the L/C's or L/G's terms.
 Updated sources and maintain all records.
 Maintains co-ordination with suppliers and other departments (such as Finance, Customs Clearance and R&D).
 Supervising in all the forwarding and shipping tender phases for about 4 year decide with top management the nominated companies.
