Work in the library going through several stages of the most important operations to transfer, registration and give each information source a number and a symbol to distinguish it from other sources of information and there is a classification of the book of any discovery of books and denoting it with one of the classification symbols used according to the classification system specific and indexing the book formally and objectively according to plan indexing and often uses the Anglo-American Cataloging rules, and then assess the operations of indexing, classification and distribution of books on the halls and arranged on the shelves
Not only the work of librarians on this but there is only essential work performed by librarians, such as extraction, indexing and cataloging and periodicals registration and processing of lists and statistics for the library and the extension work of the pioneers of library and reference services and work in sections of periodicals and loan.
