• The platform facilitated with 5 level decks, 4 production slots, test separator, wellhead control panel, power module, chemical injection skid, gas drier, production manifolds, safety equipments, personnel module, sump tank, 10" production line receiver, flow lines & helicopter deck.
• Developing a new 10" offshore transmission pipe line between the existing and new production platforms.

Project : Upgrading of Amal offshore and on shore oil & gas production facilities.

Project Scope:
• Upgrading the onshore facilities include adding of slug catcher train, oily water unit, knock out drum, two storage tanks, oil export pumps, Gas export compressors, extending the existing fir fitting system, flair system, constructing an onshore 25 km 16" oil export & 20 Km 16" Gas export onshore pipelines.
• Developing a new 5 utility buildings (administration, warehouse, substation & control room) with all associated activities.
• Upgrading of the offshore facilities include the structure and piping of two existing platforms (A &B) and laying 24", 8" & 4" offshore pipelines up to the on shore facilities with approx. 32 km length.

Scope:
Covering the related Engineering, Procurement and Construction of:
• laying 13 pipelines with approximate 285 km length, dif. dia’s above and under ground with the associated scraper areas and covering all related construction activities (hot taping, heat tracing, leak detection systems, substations, hot and cold insulations, painting, steel structure, road and canal crossing, tie-ins, CP ) up to the mechanical completion and commissioning stage.
• Coke handling system with approximate 28 km length & 120cm width belt conveyor and associated 14 No.s of transfer towers, portal declaimers, ship loaders, storage buildings, control rooms, maintenance building, electrical drive motors, 6 No.s. of electrical substations, dilution system, fir fighting system and process control system and covering all related construction activities (steel structural, mechanical, civil, instrument & electrical) .
Job Responsibilities:
• Managing the piping construction activities of NGL area train I as per the following scope figures:
o Erection of 3, 000 Tons / 48, 000 linear meter of piping (1/2” up to 48" DIA)
o Erection of 72 static and rotating equipments
o Welding of 80, 000 DIA inches of piping
o Erection of 17, 000 pipe supports
o Releasing of 670 piping test packages up to reinstatement phase.
• Organize and supervise the work duties and tasks of the piping construction team that was consisting of:

•Preparing the required piping design documents and drawings for the plant modifications and upgrading with ref. to shell DEP's & ANSI/ASMI standard.
•Carry out the reviewing and approval of contractors and sub contractors method statements of the work activities.
•Carry out technical evaluation / recommendation for tenders and approves selection of material items.
•Participate in the projects HAZOP studies.
•Attend weekly progress review meetings with consultants and contractors.

•Preparation of the general procedure of piping work.
•Site construction supervision.

Job Responsibilities:
•Laying approx. 213, 000 fl of 16, 10, 8, 6, DIA inches of U/G pipelines from the south tanks farm to various locations of gathering centers in BURGAN area.
•Remove and replace approx. 55, 000 ft of 10, 8 DIA inches of U/G carbon steel cemented lined pipeline in MINA ABDULLA refinery.
•All of the associated work activities were done according to API-1104, ANSI B31.3 & ANSI B31.4 standard procedures.
