• Oversee the excavation of trenches for various utility networks.
• Ensure proper pipe laying (HDPE, GRP, DI and VC) as per approved drawings.
• Ensure proper installation of pre cast elements and construction of in situ elements such as Manholes, catchpit basins etc.
• Coordinating with client and preparing schedule of work with client to meet the deadlines.
• Ensuring proper backfilling and compaction of selected fill materials.
• Arrange inspections at various stages of construction
• Carrying out various tests for acceptance of work (FDT, Air Test, Gravity test, Hydrotest etc.
• Coordinating with procurement team/ suppliers for various machinery and materials.
• Assigning manpower and machinery to diferent locations for a streamlined work.
• Preparing as built drawings as per the work done on site.
• Raising Technical queries for issues observed at site.
• Secure 12Km Qatar Petroleum gas lines by excavation, casting concrete Foundations, installing Arches, waterproofing, filling works around and providing drainage system.
• Construction of Approach slabs for Bicycle Underpasses and Drainage works for Bridges and Culverts.
• Supervising Pre-cast yard for the construction precast elements to be used throughout the project.
• Project handing over and Snag rectification works for all QP and Structures including 4 Main bridges, 6 Ramp bridges, 14 Truck underpasses, 11 Bicycle Underpasses and corresponding MSE Walls
Preparation of drawings for construction at site. Getting approval from concerned authorities for prepared drawings. Preparing project schedule based on contract. Identify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications. Monitor day to day work progress and prepare the weekly and monthly program and report. Maintain and record update of site work progress obtained from Site Engineers. Participate in project meetings and discussions with the Client as required. Preparing Bill of Quantity for materials required. Preparation of R.A bills from data received from sites.
Casting of precast concrete panels to be used for erection. Ensuring the availability of required material on site at time of erection. Supervision of erection of precast panels and laying of geogrid as per the construction drawings. Preparing daily progress reports of the work done on site. Communicating and coordinating with diferent departments. Observing safety requirements.
Supervision of civil work taken by EPC Department. Preparing daily progress reports of the work done. Calculation of BOQ for civil structures. Procuring various construction related equipment.
