- Directing, monitoring and coordinating project processes, evaluations/plans, to guarantee project progress in accordance with the project schedule.
- Analysing business requirements, identifying technical solutions, scheduling changes, approving implementation of changes to produce functional specifications for the project.
- Preparing all project schedules and plans, issued full schedules of work to client/involved parties for approval, assign all required resources to the project, monitor actual project progress against agreed schedules and plans to ensure completion within specified time/budget.
- Performing resource estimation for project team resources, assigning tasks, delegating authority, and motivating team members to work together on the project. Providing updates/adjustments to project plan as necessary to ensure project continues to meet key deliverables.
- Monitoring, tracking, reporting project status/progress and report to Senior Management and recommending processes to improve quality and efficiency of projects.
- Ensuring procedural adherence, resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, identifying bottlenecks and providing effective solutions.
- Maintaining a comprehensive list of all recognisable risks, acceptance test documents in line with project management guidelines.
- Recruiting competent personnel, providing training for new recruits and appraising performance on a regular basis to maintain a motivated team.
- Identifying and developing applications architecture reference models and standards.
- Owning the development and creation of the application architectures (Current/ Target) considering business needs and technology limitations while focusing on technology standards, describing configuration paradigms, and identifying demand for reference architectures
- Defining target applications architectures covering application requirements, application building blocks and their specifications, applications dependencies and relations
- Identifying application architectures gaps and developing recommendations and architectures to close the gaps
- Assisting in product/service requirements and selection activities
- Reviewing applications architecture aspects of projects during the concept, design, implementation and post implementation stages.
- Supporting the development and modelling of business and technical solutions (contextual, conceptual, logical, etc.)
- Support in identifying new application capabilities to business challenges through exploration of emerging technologies
- Support the EA Office in developing cost and benefit estimates and providing technical evaluation of business cases
- Understanding and following EA governance model, underlying tools, and EA processes
- Providing experience in IT application development methodologies and tools, application architecture models, SOA, web architectures, typical application patterns, application security, popular COST packages, programming languages, software engineering and design, and application testing methodologies and tools
