Participate in the formulation of local policies, strategies and objectives, and the monitoring of the Company’s performance. And ensure compliance with the global BAT IT strategy and standards.
Implement the Information Technology Plan for BAT Egypt, which enable the corporate objectives to be achieved.
Provide IT consultancy and be a single point of contact for the local business areas, facilitating the involvement of IT as a partner.
Ensure local systems, processes and technologies are operational, continue to support the corporate objectives, and conform to Global Standards and Best Practices (examples: software development, support, security, disaster recovery, communications, outsourcing, staff recruitment and retention and purchasing).
Ensure proper project management practices are in place, and co-ordinate planning and implementation of all local IT initiatives and projects, ensuring appropriate return on investment.
Control the local IT budget to within agreed sensitivities.
Negotiate with external suppliers for provision of services and products for the local IT operation (hardware acquisition and maintenance; software licensing, development and maintenance; outsourcing services, etc).
Build a team within the internal scope of management, coaching, motivating and training it in order to guarantee successful succession plan.
To monitor and ensure British American Tobacco security IT guidelines and best practices are followed at all times.
Annual reduction in the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) per user for the cluster through outsourcing, reduction in communications rates and using global services.
Responsible for all IT infrastructure. and all business IT systems.
Network installation and troubleshooting
Good degree with excellent degree in project
