As a lead iOS developer, some of my tasks are :
iOS Development tasks.
Leading the developers in the team.
Help technically in problems with developers.
Code reviews for other team members.
Working in the position of Mobile Team Leader, where I am responsible for mobile development department.
My job responsibilities:
Leading and mentoring the developers in mobile team.
Allocating resources and provide all the support needed.
Managing the relations between mobile team and other teams (etc. Backend, QA ).
Finding new technologies and following the latest.
Development capacity.
Starting 2017, I was promoted to Mobile architect, and my responsibilities are now including :
Defining the overall technical architecture for the mobile application that is envisioned with the product team.
Defining the technical requirements for the implementation of the mobile solution.
Deliver mobile platform and architecture recommendations based on project
requirements and industry best practices.
Design overall solutions and individual applications.
Develop and document detailed architectures for mobile solutions on iOS, and Android.
Lead and mentor development teams.
Work closely with Project Managers/Scrum masters, Senior Business Analysts, and UX teams.
Take ownership of the solution from end to end, and be responsible for translating
functional requirements into a mobile solution.
My responsibilities in my position:
•Leading iOS developers, and managing the releases.
•Participating in the development of OpenSooq IOS mobile application.
•Responsible for the Messaging module (real-time module).
•Direct communication with Product owners, to translate stories into features in the application.
My responsibilities in my position:
•Maintain and enhance the IOS mobile application.
•Maintain and enhance the Android mobile application.
•Implement new features based on product owner requirements.
•Developed and designed the online purchase system.
Bayt is a large scaling application with many users, and that gave me a good set of skills and a new experience, of handling the releases, and using tools that’s support such applications.
