• Responsible for the entire hotel during the night shift in terms of monitoring the operation, ensuring the safety & security of the hotel, colleagues and guests.
• Providing a daily feedback about the operation to the GM
• Assist front office manager in managing departments in terms of operations, staff scheduling and future planning.
• Assign duties and shifts to staff and observe performances to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures.
• Conduct annual and mid-year Appraisals with Team Members
• Manage, record and promptly resolve issues or emergencies that arise
• Maintain guests' balances within approved credit limits and ensure adherence to credit policies.
• Actively elicit guest feedback and preferences, regarding hotel services and ensure action is initiated on the same to maximize guest satisfaction
• Ensure maximum room revenue through up-selling within stipulated guidelines, therefore optimizing the sale of room inventory, while controlling room availability in high occupancy periods
• Ensure that all accounting and auditing practices are in line with company policies, governmental requirements and check audits and registration cards before sending them to accounts
• Responsible for the daily reports and the monthly reports as well.
• Greet and escort VIP guests.
• Conduct the show around in the absence of sales team.
