Successfully implemented JD Edwards for textile and spinning industry with all business functions .
This Project is first step for consolidation in Ghazal Group to manage One billion EGP investment in group.
Key projects:
•Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
•Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
•Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommended budget changes where necessary.
•Negotiate with department managers for internal resources when required.
•Determine and assess need for additional staff; work with HR to recruit appropriate project staff.
•Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
•Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables.
•Mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members, contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
•Review projects post implementation to create recommendations in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
•Contribute to the development of best practices and tools for project execution and management.
•Organize and coordinate User Acceptance Testing with the business users and Solutions team to ensure all scenarios are conducted and results properly documented.
•Document test scenarios for User Acceptance Testing.
•Work with the business user to define test scenarios for User Acceptance Testing.
•Enforce proper testing methodology and develop tests scripts in partnership with the key business users.
•Creates and maintains the overall project plan for new business project requests.
•Implement ERP package including (Manufacturing Management - Financial Management - Supply chain Management ).
•Conduct meetings with software supplier for any modifications needed.
•Test system modules, prepare list of customization and bugs.
•Assist software vendor in solving technical issues and needs.
•Modify existing ERP reports to suit our business requirements.
•Provide all required trainings and documentation for the Business users.
•Developed approximately 250 custom financial and auditing reports using Oracle report 6i.
•Make customization in some modules with Business needed using Oracle forms 6i.
•Assisting the technical team in their design and development tasks.
• Setting budgets and agreeing project time scales and deadlines with Supplier .
•Holding weekly internal and external meetings on progress .
•Single point of contact for all communications between the vendor and Company.
•Managing staff to ensure that all milestones are achieved within the agreed timeframes.
•Ensuring effective quality control processes are in place to monitor deliverables produced.
•Maintaining client relationships.
•Responsible for identifying, analyzing, measuring and managing project risks.
•Conducting regular impact analysis in order to assess the consequences of the project deliverables on other sections of the business.
•Management of accounts receivable / accounts payable.
•Maintaining General Ledgers, Sales Ledgers, Purchase Ledgers.
•Doing Voucher entries.
•Day to day entries of Purchase, Sales, Banking.
•Follow up for pending payments.
•Vat Calculation & Submission of Monthly Return.
•handling the company accounts with bank (the deposit and withdrawal).
•Making bank reconciliations.
•Making the letter of guarantee requests to banks.
•Granting the letter of credit.
•Prepare P/L and balance sheets on Quarterly basis.
• Manage and support ERP system modules.
• Investigate and rectify performance issues by maintaining configuration settings and liaising with software supplier and Operation Team for rectification.
•Responsible for managing the training sessions with business users and project teams to gather obligation.
•System Trouble shooting and user support.
•Make sure that all the project deliverables are in line with production system.
•Make sure that proper completion and change control procedures are well followed.
•Operate backup and update procedures for databases and applications.
