Pre-Award

Leads and performs the development and issuance of contracts and services agreements including the following activities such that the team:

· In accordance with project procedures, manages tender process from beginning to end; forming and issuing tender packages, tracking and closing queries, receiving and evaluating proposals, and providing input to the recommendations for award

· Prepares and organizes meetings/workshops, such as bid clarification and pre-award meetings, for the purpose of ensuring complete understanding and agreement between Bechtel, the client, and contractor on all contractual matters.

· Prepares and manages the preparation of contract documents for execution with Customer’s Legal Advisors.

· Prepares, maintains and manages the control of status reporting documents.

· Prepares, maintains, and manages the preparation and maintenance of registers, presentations, and correspondence.

· Performs other pre-award duties as assigned.



Post-Award

Leads and performs contracts administration and responsible for:

· Develops, maintains, and ensures implementation of Contract & Commercial Management Procedures for the administration of Contracts.

· Performs and or manages the review of Contract terms and conditions to identify and monitor areas of risk, ambiguities, conflicts, or deviations from the scope of work.

· Develops, implements, manages and or oversees appropriate mechanisms to monitor compliance with contract terms and conditions.

· Identifies and resolves, and or oversees, the resolution of Contract claims as they develop, including engagement of corporate legal department where necessary.

· Obtains and or manages the receipt all contract deliverables for timely work handover and close-out of contracts.

· Prepares, maintains and or manages the control of status reporting documents.

· Prepares, maintains, and or manages the preparation and maintenance of registers, presentations, and correspondence.

· Performs other post-award duties as assigned.

· Administers complex (sub)contracts. Extensive knowledge and experience in (sub)contract administration required. Represents Bechtel in (sub)contract negotiations.

· Administers complex contract changes by negotiating with customer personnel and obtaining settlement.

· Represents Bechtel in complex contractual discussions.

· Administers information programs to ensure mutual understanding of (sub)contract terms and conditions.
