- Leading a team to operate and maintain IP/MPLS Networks for Fixed and Mobile services to ensure maintaining constant availability, optimal functionality and overall performance
- Control Cost Savings on allocated IP Transport Operational Budgets “OPEXs”.

- Manage to carry out the required Preventative activities to minimize the network disruption and corrective activities to restore the services.
- Provide safety & resilience recommendations before and during HAJJ & UMRAH Seasons, Official Holidays and Special Events to meet huge demands during these periods.
- Following up with Transport Project team for network relocation and dismantling requirements.
Achievements:
- Successfully achieved the Department SLAs for 2017 & 2018.
- Successful transition of Managed Services Network (MNS) to the new Vendor without any operational issue.
- Streamline with Transport Project to successfully integrating additional 8 P Routers (Phase-1) part of Intelligent Transport Network (ITN) Project.
- Enhanced the operational processes and documentations for all functions (Field, Service Provisioning, Handover, PMR, Service Migration Procedure, etc).
- Conducted Network Audits to ensure network configuration integrity and performed contingency plan part of Disaster Recovery Plan.
• Reporting to the FTTX Operations Director under Transport Operations Department, leading a team of 12 technical and 4 vendors for management of Fiber Infrastructure (FI).
• Leading a Team to operate and maintain of OSP and FTTx (FTTH, FTTB, FTTM, etc) networks within agreed SLA.
• Accountable to carry out the required Preventative activities to minimize the network disruption and Corrective activities to restore the services within agreed KPI & SLA.
• Perform FI protection audit and SPOF analysis to enhance network resilience.
• Performing the acceptance of new Fiber Infrastructure span (Metro, Long Distance, FTTx) and Transport active elements (SDH, DWDM, OTN, MPLS-TP, OLT, MDU).
• Providing investigation report (incidents/outages) within the area of responsibilities.
• Supporting the implementation of MDTs/TCN’s related to the Transport Field functions.
• Managing third party permits coordination and FTTx infrastructure locating.
• Managing OSP and FTTx Spare Parts and tools according to the respective contracts.
• Following up with Transport Project team for network Protection, Relocation and Dismantling requirements.
• Reclaiming the cost of OSP damage perpetrated by 3rd party & taking the necessary measurements to avoid any further damage.
Achievements:
- Successfully achieved the Department SLAs for 2015 & 2016.
- Completed the Synergy of Metro OSP and FTTH Contractors into single Contractor and shift from O&M Contract to MNS Contract with total Saving of SAR 81 M.
- Resolved Payments for 3 Contractors based on 375/2011 Contract with total amount of SAR 9.7 M.
- Returned revenue of cable damage claims from 3rd parties with amount SAR 271, 859.
Main Responsibilities:
• Reported to the Transmission Network Integration Director, leading a team of 2 technical and 3 vendors for management of Long Distance Networks (SNFN, B-ICON & RCN) within agreed SLA.
• Accountable to lead the team of Services Delivery for Transmission Long Distance Network based on multiple services and technologies (DWDM, OTN and SDH).
• Managed all functions of Service Delivery including circuit designing, provisioning, implementation and acceptance.
• Assigned as Network Administrator (NA) Manager for Regional Cable Network (RNC) by the Partners.
• Responsible to optimize network resources and traffic migration plans to satisfy client requirements.
• Spearheaded to identify risks associated with circuits and take actions to enhance their protection.

• Delivered more than ten 100G circuits in 2013 & 2014 and huge requirement of 10G/2.5G circuits during 2011 & 2012 to partner clients and meet traffic growth over the kingdom.
• Recovered huge number of hardware(Transponders /Muxponders) after optimizing the 10G/2.5G circuits with CapEx saving 16M SR in 2012.
• Audit complete SNFN rings to enhance circuits protections during 2011.
• Successfully migrated all services from Mobily Old Technical Terminals (Bayanat & NORI). Bayanat Terminal composed of 5 Transmissions Long Distance and 1 Metro rings.
Job Description:
• Reported to the Divisional Manager, leading a team of 1 Zain Engineer & 7 MNS resources for day-to-day operations of IP Backbone (IP/MPLS), Value Added Service (VAS) IP and Network Security domains.
• Managed design review, installation & network integration management and testing of IP BB, VAS IP and Security Networks to carry the expected traffic growth.
• Responsible for support services for the IP Backbone, VAS IP and Security including review and management of compliance to daily Request For Change (RFC).
• Supported Transmission Planning Team for capacity planning to increase Zain-Saudi Arabia Mobile Network coverage (2G & 3G).
• Spearheading upgrade IP BB (IP/MPLS) network to meet the potential increase of Internet Traffic as part of Mobile Broadband Project.
Achievments:
• Improved the Quality of Services and Traffic Load-Sharing at IP/MPLS Network which were main operational issues after lunching the services.
• Assigned to be on charge of IP BB network for two consecutive Hajj Seasons 1430H (2009) & 1429H (2008) and achieved successfully the target without any service outage by developing contingency plan & risk assessment, allocating human resources and spare parts; and 24 hours monitoring the network.
• Completed the Expansion of IP BB network (Phase-B) which consists of additional Six Core sites (including two Hajj sites) and upgrading several links to STM-4 level.
• Completed the VAS IP and Network Security (Phase-A) which composing of Cisco \{Router & Switches \[6513, 3750, 7206VXR, 2960\], Firewalls \[ASA 5520 & FWSM\], Intrusion Detection System Module\} as well as Juniper ISG2000 Firewalls. The completion of this Network is the prerequisite for lunching Zain Services (VAS, IN, Billing & Charging, OSS & IT) on Saudi Arabia on 26 August 2008.
• Completed the IP BB for Phase-A which consists of Seven Core sites distributed geographically over the Kingdom which composing of Cisco CRS-1/8 & 7609 series. The completion of this Network is the prerequisite for lunching Zain Services on Saudi Arabia on 26 August 2008..

Working as Telecom Engineer-A for 4 years since February 17th, 2004.
Job Description:
• Handling budgeting of communication projects by using SAP system in coordination with Capital Planning and Performance Department.
• Developing Scope of Work and Technical Specifications for backbone fiber optics system requirement of 230/115 KV Substation.
• Developing Scope of Work and Technical Specifications for fiber optics access system requirement for 115/13.8 KV Substation.
• Evaluating Technical Proposals of backbone and access fiber optics system.
• Commissioning Next-Generation SDH (STM-64) equipments.
• Commissioning SDH (STM-16) equipments.
• Commissioning Digital Power Line Carrier equipments.
• Supporting Wide Area Network (WAN) Group.
Projects under Responsibility:
• In charge of huge communication project at SEC-Western Operating Area (WOA) to establish Fiber Optics Access Network composing of 160 nodes to support Western Regional Control Center (WRCC).
• Providing the fiber optics system requirements to interconnect Central Operating Area (COA) and Western Operating Area (WOA) with SDH (STM-16) system.
• In addition to ten (10) ongoing communication projects at Eastern Operating Area (EOA).
Accomplishments (as Telecom Project Engineer):
• Completed the fiber optics system requirements of three (3) 69/13.8 KV Substations at EOA during 2007.
• Completed the fiber optics system requirements of Power Supply to SAUDI ARAMCO New Hawiyah NGL Recovery Plant in October, 2006.
• Completed the fiber optics system requirements of SADAF Co-Generation Monitoring Facilities in May, 2006.
• Participated in the impementation stage of WAN Expansion for Migration of SCADA Communications; and SEC-EOA WAN Upgrade projects.

Worked as Telecom Engineer-III for more than 2 years from November 17th, 2001 to February 16th, 2004.
