-Compile reporting of actuals (including organizing and overseeing timeliness and accuracy of period-end close, and promoting ghe management of data at source); and dynamic forecasts for the factory; ensure transparency of this process;
-Follow up and monitoring of progress to close gaps, ensuring financial policies, Accounting Standards and costing Standards are followed.
-Administer the inventory costing operation to be complied with company procedure and policies, Accounting Standard IFRS.
-Review and clarify all Footwear Cost Breakdown Sheets (CBD’s) for accuracy of material description/supplier, unit price, material usage. Also, compare CBD’s to sample/production specifications and go-by samples.
-Execute according to calendar and corporate guidelines
-Manage reporting, analysis and routine transactions, in collaboration with upstream(Sourcing, Planning) and downstream (senior management, finance, accounting, product development) functions
-Challenge assumptions in seeking cost improvements in factory. Seek for and support cost improvement opportunities, be an active contributor to improvement projects and initiatives validate and review proposed savings.
-Partner with engineering to manage costs and review capital proposals
-Manager of Costing Scenario process with solid or dotted line reporting for all Global Costing analysts and Associate managers
-Manage costing input with SAP ERP. throughout all integrated modules
-Seasonally collect and analyze costing data to support the Product Costing team with relevant information to help with prioritization, benchmarking, comparison and to provide the team with a big picture view of Costing levers and relevant information (e.g. profit, labour, overhead, tooling & material cost, forecast, order volume, product complexity, capacity
utilization, sunked cost, etc…)
-Manages costing support systems such as tooling amortization, component airfreight rebates, factory ledger claims, monthly factory margins with profitability analysis.
-Oversees special cost projects; these are detailed investigations into specific costs such as tooling, embroidery, labor, and overhead/administration, with the primary purpose being the compilation of facts which will be presented to the factories as support in the cost negotiation process
-Coordinates costing process, ensuring that communication of key project lists and information is completed such that worldwide steel costing efforts are being completed according to the defined schedule
-Implementation of new business cost planning and structures of all Work centers and activities based costing to assure the functionality and the efficacy of cost distributions over all channels.
-To provide systems training to new costing candidate and factory Costing staff
-Managing and lead presentation of all sensitive management and financial report of BOD, Executive committee and Shareholder's annual financial reporting.
-Managing the annual preparation of the company Budgets, Expansions, Planning, Investment projects and CAPEX for BOD approval as per the specified time table.
