As a consultant I managed multiple projects in parallel where I lead the transition from Waterfall to an Agile environment. 10+ years of Waterfall Project Management along with SAFe Agile certifications helped me lead teams in transforming data centers with an Agile approach. Led implementation and software development of a $2.8 million online application. A multi-phase project which required portal & server upgrades, data migration, the creation of new functionalities that supports the online medicine catalog, interaction of nursing homes & Pharmacy (Chat servers), tracks patient’s information and their medical history and upgrades to the current online registration systems. Team consisted of 42+ resources, utilizing both Agile and SDLC development methodologies.
•Gathered and planned infrastructure requirements to support implementation including server and back-ups, disaster recovery, network changes and system performance while ensuring products and components work together to meet objectives.
•Performed quantitative risk analysis, financial and budgetary management, developing mitigation plans while emphasizing on quality improvements and cost savings.
•Worked with the security and Business Continuity teams based out of Frankfort, Germany throughout migration planning to define, document, and test the project infrastructure and business process changes for IS security and audit controls compliance; ensuring a full disaster recovery (DR) solution is built and tested to support the current solution.
