1-Laboratory Testing
*Conduct study on each of Lab instruments base on IEC & BS standards and make a work instruction for it.
*Set-up all new Lab. instrument and performed commissioning as well.
*Responsible for different laboratory testing like tensile test, hot set test, dimensional testing using KSM machine and profile projector, Pressure test at high temperature on oversheaths, shrinkage test, cable analysis (MBD), thermal ageing test, thermal analysis of HV insulation/polymers using, carbon black content, wafer boil test as per ICEA/ANSI standard …..etc.
*Responsible on cable analysis of finished product and provide reports.
*Prepare ITP’s for customer/3rd party inspection and prepare test report thereafter.
*Responsible on inspection on finished cable if required by customer.
*Tasked to analyze existing and new test procedure in the laboratory.
*Responsible for training of laboratory staff for new testing procedure in the laboratory.
*Supervision on laboratory staff and review all their duties.
*Prepare all reports and analysis needed by laboratories Manager.
*Communicate with all plant departments to handle the laboratory work.
*Continuous development of physical laboratory.
2-Raw Material
*Performed Incoming raw material test including copper rod, PVC, PE/XLPE, steel wire etc. according to Standards (IEC/BS/ASTM).
*Test and evaluate trial of new material.
*Raise any complaint of material problems to supply chain department.
3-Calibration Process
*Maintain the accuracy and integrity of all Test and Measuring instruments in the company.
*Prepare monthly plan for all instruments due for calibration.
*Update and prepare calibration report using Calibration Recall System (a program using GUPTA System in which I’m the one who made that Date Base).
*Performed calibration of all Test and Measuring Equipment based on their corresponding specification in Power Cable such as Length Counter, Oven, Temperature controller, Digital Multimeter, Speed Meter, Caliper, Micrometer, Flow meter, Weighing scale, Spark tester, DC tester, Fault locating system KSM measuring instrument etc.
*Responsible on the preparation of Calibration Work Instruction for Test Equipment.
*Provides work instruction for new instrument/equipment for better accuracy of measurement in order to save time, money and effort.
*Assist Maintenance in installation of new machine and identify which instrument requires calibration.
*Prepare Purchased requisition of instruments required outside calibration using EPICOR.

*Responsible for achieving quality of the production without any defects by testing standard physical properties and treatment any problems appears during the production.
*Receiving all raw materials, testing .
* following up quality needs of converting department like appearance and packaging of finished products.
