- Contribute positively to regional sales, orders, profitability, and ITO quality goals
- Work closely with sales team to develop opportunities, formulate and present GE solution to customers and close deals.
- Manage project handover from ITO (inquiry-to-order) phase to OTR (order-to-remittance) phase handover
- Participate in team activities to establish regional business network of partnerships, alliances and integrator / distributor / reseller
Worked as Lead Maintenance Engineer for maintenance of Instrumentation and Control Systems at Ammonia Plant. The job responsibilities included maintenance of field instrumentation, control valves, analyzers, control room instruments, control systems, shutddown systems, governing systems, compressor control systems and vibration monitoring systems. I also looked after new projects to be executed in Ammonia Plant.
Currently working as “Instrumentation and Control Engineer” at Ammonia and Urea plant. Responsible for:
Preventive and breakdown maintenance of general field instrumentation installed at plant
Machine monitoring systems for vibration and speed such as Bently Nevada 3500, 3300, 7200 and their associated field instrumentation
Triconex PLC based ESD system, modifications in its FBD based logic and future projects requiring SIS at plant
Invensys I/A series DCS, resolution of its software and hardware related problems, modifications in existing configurations and implementation of new projects
Triconex governing and anti-surge system installed at centrifugal compressors
Ordering and maintenance of inventory for field and control room instruments, preparation of job request and purchase requisition
Budget preparation for field and control room instruments
PROJECTS AND EXPERIENCE DETAILS
COMMISSIONING OF TRICONEX ESD SYSTEM FOR AMMONIA AND UREA PLANT
The project comprised changeover from relay-based Carlo Gavazzi Shutdown system to Triconex PLC SIS for the Ammonia/Urea complex containing 1400 I/Os. Responsible for verification and testing of FBD based shutdown logic, charting of wiring plan, testing of PLC hardware and commissioning of project. The project was completed successfully during plant turnaround in October 2009.
ONLINE COMMISSIONING OF INVENSYS DCS AT UREA PLANT
The project included changeover from Foxboro SPEC 200 electronic control system to Invensys I/A Series V8.4.2 DCS for Urea plant comprising 400 I/Os. Individually responsible for system configuration, control loops configuration, development of shifting and wiring plan and its execution. 80% of control loops were shifted online. The project was completed successfully in October 2010.
COMMISSIONING OF TRICONEX TS3000 GOVERNING SYSTEM
The project included change over from Woodward electronic governing system to Triconex TS3000 Governing system at two turbine driven compressors.
