My role and responsibilities to perform QA/QC works
Project: Construction of Degree collage Gardhi Dupatta Azad Kashmir
Project: G Plus 12 Multistory Residential Building Rawalpindi
RESPONSIBILITIES
Implementation of Inspection and test plans, quality plans and client specifications
Preparing Request for inspections (RFIs) for ongoing activities of work as per ITP.
Surveillance inspection for site work and highlighting basic requirements of work proactively to
construction team to avoid occurrence of Non-conformances.
Surveillance inspection and raising observation reports, INCRs to record site issues.
Conducting internal audits of company to highlight gaps for corrective action before external audit
Assisting the external audits as an quality representative from quality department
Monitoring and inspection of activities like Foundations Form work, concrete pouring, curing works,
Painting and concrete protection works.
Inspection of construction and supervision of various pavement works like construction of embankment,
sub grade, reinforced earth panels etc.
Material receiving inspection and Monitoring of Preservation of newly arrived materials.
Inspection and Monitoring of quality of RCC works such as foundations, columns, beams, walls, and
Slabs etc.
To ensure the quality of product used in the Construction, Setting out, leveling, and surveying the site
Monitoring grouting activities at site grouting and pre-grouting checks
To ensure timely corrective action implementation and closure of all site Non conformities to
avoid repetition.
Witnessing concrete sampling and Reviewing results of slump test, FDT, Compaction test etc.
Fabrication and erection of Steel Structure like Foot Over Bridges, Plate form Shelters, and Height
Gauges Supervised RCC and Girders casting.
Having experience of Tunnel Construction activities including drilling, blasting, mucking, concreting rock
-bolt installation wire mash installation, etc
Maintain road way slopes and side slopes carriage way center line etc also maintain thickness of Sub
base, Sub grade.
Leveling Course and Tunnel lining, maintain various slope protection process including stone masonry
drainage pipe, weep hole installation.
Inspection of Steel structure pre-Installation inspection foundation checks
Inspection of Steel structure Plumbness/Alignment inspection
Inspection of Steel structure Pre-installation procedure verification testing and bolt tightening
Inspection Underground piping laying, installation and leak testing, back filling, compaction
Steel structure pre-Installation inspection foundation checks
Steel structure Alignment and bolt tightening checks
Inspection of Execution of work as per Design and Drawing.
Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, reports on key performance indicator and evaluating as per the
planned schedule.
Maintaining quality standards for all structural works.
Supervision of the working labor to ensure strict conformance to method and Quality.
Checking that all the technical equipments are in good working condition with valid calibration.
Inspection Execute steel as per approved structural Design.
Inspection and monitoring the safety of workers and others at the site.
Attending the Client meeting related to site quality issues.
Handling the construction layout and map designing.
Implementation of Inspection plans, quality plans and client specifications
Preparing of Bar binding schedule as per given drawing.
Supervision of earthwork, Formwork, Rebar, Concrete work, Embedment, Supervision of brick work,
alignment of column etc.
Coordinating with the suppliers and dealers for the materials issues.
Making the estimations for the project and checking the feasibility of the project as per company
requirements.
Communicating for site issues effectively with colleagues, Architects, Subcontractors, Contracting Civil
Engineers, Consultants and co workers for conclusion.
