FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS:
• Managing complete budgeting and forecasting process of MENA entities and taking responsibility for the monitoring of performance against agreed KPI’s and providing timely status reporting with analysis to all areas of the business.
• Driving the development and continuous improvement in analytical tools, reports and models to improve insights, standardize formats, utilize relevant KPI’s, metrics and ensure accuracy.
• Preparing regular cash flow forecasts for MENA business.
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING:
• Manage month end Financial closing process of MENA entities to ensure not only timely Financial Reporting but also total financial accuracy and control of the process.
• Preparation of monthly management reporting pack which includes financial statements analysis, performance measurement against KPI’s, Balance Score card and Key initiatives summary.
• Responsible for ensuring integrity and stability of monthly income statement and BS reconciliations.
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely audit report sign off for all the entities in MENA.
BUSINESS PARTNER:
• Business partner with supply chain by advising on efficiencies, working on operational improvement projects and providing detailed monthly KPI based performance reports for operations and logistics.
• Business partner with sales by providing commercial finance support i.e. evaluating new business proposals, doing customer profitability and supporting in pricing of new and existing customers.
• Financial and business evaluation of major CAPEX projects across the region. Support in creating business reviews and post investment reviews
COMPLIANCE, RISK MANAGEMENT, INTERNAL AUDIT AND SYSTEMS:
• Monitoring compliance to statutory and legal requirements of each country/region within which CHEP operates in Middle East and North Africa
• Carrying out programmed internal audits of service center locations in MENA region and Internal audit of Brambles entities in other regions.
• Evaluate, develop, implement, manage and maintain SOP’s to ensure adequate and effective internal control for supporting business.
PAYABLES:
• Managing the employees expenses, credit cards and vendor payment process with outsource service provider to ensure payments are up to date and in line with company requirements.
• Resolving vendor queries and ensuring quarterly supplier reconciliations.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
Reduced Forecasting and management reporting time significantly by implementing new user friendly reporting tools for Finance, Operation, Logistics and Sales in MENA region.
Led supply chain cost optimization project for Middle East and provide recommendations to reduce operations cost by 10% and Logistic cost by 25%.
Worked with Global Innovation and future options team on feasibility of two mega business proposals of $300m each.
Received various awards for being outstanding performer and selected among top 30 employees from more than 600 best performers of EMEA to attend a talent development program at IE Business School Madrid and lead an EMEA project team.
Managed ME head office relocation project from setting up of a new company to new office.
