RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare and verify Technical BOQ and RFP proposals on Wired/Wireless LAN Campus Networks, Solar Power solutions, IP & CCTV Surveillance solutions and Audio / Video Conferencing Solutions.
• Post Implementation plans for the projects assigned.
• Move my team according to the plans for successful implementations and after sales support.
Some of the successful projects I initiated and closed are described as follows:
PROJECTS:
1. Gourmet Foods Corporate Head Quarter Campus wide LAN Infrastructure & Surveillance System Deployment (EXTREME NETWORKS, 3M, CP-PLUS):
• Designing of Campus wide Network Passive and Active of 800 Nodes. Design includes Active on Extreme Networks, Passive Copper & Fiber on 3M. IP surveillance design on CP-PLUS. Successfully implemented with my team the Passive, Active and IP Surveillance system as per designing.
2. Gourmet Foods Video Conferencing Solution for Head Office and three Branch sites (LifeSize):
• Designing and preparing BOQ and post implementation plan for 4 Sites. On Head Office Site LifeSize Team 220 4-Way full HD MCU was installed along with 10x Optical zoom Camera and Branch sites three LifeSize Express 220 were Installed.
3. University of Management & Technology (UMT) Extreme Networks (Distribution & Access Deployment):
• Designed expansion of Network for new buildings, UMT Lahore. Integrate Extreme Distribution Switch Summit X460 with Cisco 6500 Core Switch on 10Gig Fiber and Downstream to multiple edge switches from Distribution switches on 1 Gig Fiber.
4. SALAMAT SCHOOLS SYSTEMS (SSS) CCTV SURVEILLANCE, Lahore, Pakistan:
• Designed and Implemented CCTV (CP-PLUS) Security surveillance solutions for their 10 Campus. Centralized View of all the campus in there Head Office using CP-PLUS Software KVMS Pro. Create High Availability design with Backup of recording at local and central site.
5. OFF-GRID Residential SOLAR Power Systems, Lahore, Pakistan:
• Designed, Installed and Integrated many OFF-Grid SOLAR Backup Power Solutions for my customers for their Residential Homes. Implemented various capacity of Solar Solutions ranges from highest capacity of 20KVA and lowest capacity 1KVA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Profile: Led a team of 5 personnel, reported to the MD, and managed IT Operations & Support Group for designing & implementing IT Infrastructure & Solutions and business applications.
• Supervised a team of high end technology certified professionals for handling projects management and IT service management and handling Global IT operation for clients.
• Handled projects for monitoring daily requirement of IT and developing state of the art platforms within ICT for ensuring business development.
• Led an OFF-Grid Solar Backup Power Solution for a University, with large footprint in Pakistan having 60 Regional Offices/Campuses. Result in Solar powered IT Data Center block in all campuses.
• Established B2B relationship with Ulica Solar (China Top Solar Company), Extreme Networks (USA Worldwide Top Networking Manufacturer/OEM), ProLink (Singapore Top UPS/Inverters Manufacturer/OEM) etc.
Achievements:
• Pivotal in re-engineering IT Infrastructure.
• Formed and maintained Data Centers & DR Sites and provided technical and business application support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare Technical proposals and presentations on wireless Radio Links, Power distributions inside Data Centers, UPS Backup Power Solutions for Data Centers, Solar Backup Solutions for Data centers and ATM Sites, Wi-Fi Mesh solutions, Design of OFC Laying inside Data Centers and outside long back haul solutions, GPON, Voice Gateway & LAN/WAN campus Networks.

Some of the successful projects I initiated and closed are described as follows:
PROJECTS:
1. Data Center Solution for AIOU:
Proposed, Designed and deployment of a new Data Center for Allama Iqbal Open University. The old Data center was not satisfying customer new ideas and increasing of network infrastructure; the old Data center was not designed with scalability. Proposed new Active and passive items in Data center with best network optimization. Design the new data center on TIER 2 Top of Rack. Data Center connectivity trend was 10G/40G for Top of rack switches. Dual power source HVAC and Dual power network switches. Future Scalability was also given in design. The design was structured on TIER-3. Structured Passive Network was designed on runways/ladders. Dual HVAC Distribution system and Dual DC source system was designed and Implemented in the project. Racks with horizontal cool airflow from back to front and vertical hot air flow from top of racks.
2. Maintenance of Data Center, Network and IT Equipment’s of Pakistan Navy (PN):
The Maintenance contract of different Pakistan Navy Units was initiated. I made a detailed site survey with my Technical team before the initialization of Project. On the basis of site survey proposed technical solution for their Network and IT Infrastructure items to be maintained by a single organization. The items include in the maintenance were Network Switches, Routers, Servers, Ups, and Printers. One Data center at the central site office was maintained and 12 remote sites were maintained connected directly to Data center.
3. Installation of Extreme Black Diamond (BD8806) Core Switch for Pakistan Navy (PN) DATA Center:
On the basis of Site Survey of Network, give proposal to PN personal for a Back-up Core Switch to minimize their Network downtime in Data Center. Initiated RFP (Request for Proposal) on Extreme Product. Win the tender and execute the project successfully.
4. Installation of Radio Links for Tuwairqi Steel Mills:
Initialize this deal with Cold call. Visit customer site introduce company, gather requirements and on the basis of requirements proposed Proxim QB8150 12 Mbps data Radios for Building to Building connectivity within campus. Give successful demo and on the basis of demo get order of three Radio Links.
5. GEPON FTTx BASED SOLUTION FOR 100 VOICE EXTENSION & DATA AT JNB Pak Navy:
The requirements were given by the customer, On the basis of requirement made Technical and financial proposal. Different companies proposed different solution. The solution proposed by me was cost-effective with reliable products. Technically qualify and then financially win the project. The design was on Raisecom GPON OLT and ONU’s. Implemented the project in 2 Months.
6. INSTALLATION OF UPS Backup Power Solution FOR BOSCH PHARMA:
Done site survey at plant calculated the load of each machine and proposed technical and financial proposal. Get the work order on the basis of technical and financial proposals and executed it successfully.
7. Installation of MAIPU 32-Port FXS Voice Gateway at DP-Navy Rawalpindi on their DVB-S System.

PROJECTS:
1. Pakistan Navy WIRELESS BASED VOICE & DATA NETWORK:
Installation and Integration of proposed network with the existing Alcatel Exchange at Ormara Site.
2. OPTICAL FIBER CABLE (OFC) LAYING:
Managed Optical fibers laying that includes the site surveys before laying, preparing Bill of Order Quantity (BOQs) and then supervise the OFC laying and installation on sites. Also Implemented OFC laying for GPON solutions inside Data Centers.
3. Installation & Integration of ZYXEL IP-DSLAM PAKISTAN NAVY (PN):
Installed and integrated 700 ports plus ZYXEL IP-DSLAM in residential area of Pakistan Navy, Integrate the IP-DSSLAM with ALCATEL Exchange, to provide internet services over POTS (Plain Old telephone system). Authentication services using Broadband Remote Access Server (BRAS) using Cisco 7200 Series Router and Cisco Secure ACS for AAA services.

PROJECTS:
1. DATA CENTERS PROJECT OF HUAWEI (MSAN NGN PHASE-2) AT THREE PTCL SITES:
Worked as Subcon of Huawei, Done site surveys at three locations of PTCL for Data center, Worked as Design and Implementation Engineer, Design Data center for Multi-Service Access Network Platform. Design includes all passive (Dc power Distribution for Racks, HVAC Distribution for Rectifier, Battery Banks of rectifier, Chillers placing for proper cooling and air flow inside Racks, ladders route map for power and network cables and raised floor structural design.
Worked as Subcon of Huawei, leading my team as an Installation, Commissioning and integration Engineer, Deployed Multi Service Access Network (MSAN) UA5000 on three Exchanges of Pakistan Telecommunication Ltd (PTCL).
2. PAKISTAN NAVY IP-DSLAM PROJECTS:
Installation, configuration and Integration of RAISECOM 700 PORTS RAISECOM IP DSLAM network at Pakistan Navy Data Center Karachi, using Broadband Remote Access Server (BRAS) using Cisco 7200 Series Router and Cisco Secure ACS for AAA services.
Installation, configuration and integration of 200 Ports RAISECOM IP DSLAM network at Gawader site.
3. PAKISTAN NAVY VOICE PROJECT:
Installation, configuration and integration of RAISECOM PCM Multiplexer and Demultiplexer, Extending 200 voice extensions from exchange to a Remote site on SDH Optical Network; Remote site was almost 30-Km away from Exchange.
4. PAKISTAN NAVY GPON PROJECT:
Installation, Integration and commissioning of GPON network, Installed RAISECOM OLT at the Data center site and RAISECOM ONU’s at Multiple Remote sites.
5. PAK DATACOM Limited (PDL) OFAN:
Installation, configuration and Integration of RAISECOM Multiservice Access Platform (MSAP) on a POP Site, Terminating 25 Client sites of PDL using fiber as last mile services, converging all client sites on a single STM-1 Link from RAISECOM MSAP
6. Installation, configuration of HP G3 Servers and Cisco Routers with Services (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, ISA and IIS).
7. Dubai Islamic Bank Metro Ethernet Project on RAISECOM Layer-2 Copper and Fiber Switches.
