• Attended EMCOT-2012 at CIIT Abbottabad on May 7-8, 2012. One of the final year projects, 5-Axis CNC Machine, co-supervised by myself, participated in competition and got overall 2nd position among 59 projects from 20 universities nationwide.

• Main focus was on SDH and DWDM technologies with particular reference to network efficiency
• Arranged 1 week short course on ‘Digital Filter Design using MATLAB’ (July 20-24, 2010). Main focus was to get familiar with the digital filter concepts and its real time implementation on DSP kit
• Attended EMCOT-2010 at CIIT Abbottabad on May 10-11, 2010. Total 8 projects participated in that competition from MAJU Islamabad
• Attended EMCOT-2009 at CIIT Abbottabad on May 11-12, 2009. Total five projects participated in that competition from MAJU Islamabad. Project title ‘Trajectory Control of Serial Robotic Arm using Inverse Kinematics’ won the 3rd prize among 121 projects over there
• Attended COMPPEC-2009 (July 17-18, 2009) at CEME NUST Rawalpindi. Project title ‘Trajectory Control of Serial Robotic Arm using Inverse Kinematics’ earned a distinction over there.
• Participated in a project competition at CIIT Wah Cantt (June 7-8, 2009). One of the MAJU’s students from CS department won the ‘Speed Programming Competition’
