• Receiving and ensuring all visitors, internal and external, are welcomed in an appropriate manner, my office is the first to receive clients, ensuring they are satisfied with the service provided, giving tea and snacks as they wait to be attended to.
• Attending meetings with the school board, staff meetings and advocating for the customers needs, also given the duty to write and distribute minutes after meetings.
• Looking for and liaising with sponsors to sponsor our school events ie the schools culture day for 2022 we had sponsors like Astrol Petrol Station, Equity and Family bank, Fahari restaurant, Mishys Kitchen and a few parents sponsored too.
• Managing the schools collaborations with other schools for activities like games competitions. This will include liaising and managing incoming/outgoing correspondence to ensure that information meets the needs of the customers. This may include writing letters, briefing reports and any other communications, maintaining the appropriate tone and style with staff, the school, parents, and outside organizations.
• Coordinating logistic and administrative support for the organization of School events and functions. Working with the event lead and teachers to understand the scope of the event, managing all requirements and ensuring quality delivery.
• Ensuring the school heads are up to date and briefed on appropriate matters happening around the school and opportunities that the school can benefit from ie the partnerships of swimming gala competitions.
• Following up with the school heads on yearly events and meetings that are to take place and ensuring they take place this includes getting motivational speakers and team building.
• Providing executive service to the school heads ie drafting and typing letters, minutes, meeting agendas, schedules and reports, also by sometimes assisting the Head in the preparation of the points to be discussed in Board meetings.
• Interacted with people that helped get a better feel for the companys customer base and how they are served.
• Effectively handled customer interactions via outgoing sales call to offer products at regular and special prices to increase sales volume.
