Handle medical Gas related matters and concerns including medical gas cylinders.
Daily check for all medical Gas system ( Air Compressors, Vacuum pumps, Oxygen tank, and Gases manifolds )
Performing require maintenance and regular preventive maintenance according to the checklist for all medical gas system.
Keep records for cylinders that needs to refill & responsible for handling them to the medical department.
Request refill for gasses from the contracted supplier and keep a fast communication process with records.
Calculate the Gases consumption for the hospital and calculate the backup needed depending on the hospital consumption as CBAHI standard states.
Follow the safety and infection regulations within handling medical gas cylinder and store them accordingly.
Responsible for maintenance of the Medical gas unit panel ( Shut off valves, Alarm Panel )
Responsible for Bed Head unit gas outlets, perform the require maintenance as needed.
Leak, cross-section, purity and humidity tests will be perform according to the department policies, procedures, and plans.
Follow the department & Hospital; policies, procedures, and plans accordingly.
Participate in hospital committees as per biomedical department head request.
Kpis will be calculated by the head of department according to the status of work been done to the mentioned responsibilities and duties
