• Work with the sales team to create successful proposals for Industrial Refrigeration solutions.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to create effective supply chain strategies tailored to meet the needs of the Industrial Refrigeration industry.
• Create and implement educational resources focused on Refrigeration systems and their uses, aimed at both internal and external stakeholders
• Lead the review of customer specifications at tendering and contract stages.
• Take leading role in driving down costs by developing innovative engineering, supply chain and service solutions.
• Performance verification of critical equipment required, and interpretation of results into practical and reasonable mechanical details to ensure functional and cost effective solutions.
• Create fundamental design and engineering specifications, piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) and system design parameters for process and utility equipment.
• Generate detailed specifications up to Purchase Order level, and obtain quotes for technically compliant and cost-effective equipment from various external supply chains.
• Assess quotes from sub-suppliers to offer comprehensive proposals and cost-effective solutions.
• Attend Technical Clarification Meetings with Clients and sub-suppliers.
• Chair project handover meetings following the contract award, guaranteeing that all essential project information required for successful project execution is communicated to all pertinent teams.
• Work closely with the Aftermarket team to create long-term initiatives and strategies that enhance business prospects and overall benefits for the company.
• Design & sales of industrial refrigeration systems across multiple industries such as food, beverage, cold storage, process plants, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries
using most refrigerants
• Prepare Request for Proposals for all new and or expansion refrigeration systems starting from heat load calculation, refrigeration system design, selection & pricing of refrigeration equipments, estimation of engineering, materials, piping & installation based on the requirements of the client.
• Present proposals to customers and negotiate contracts which result in sales closure
• Create sketches and related design documents to complete the required refrigeration system and accommodate customer expectations.
• Perform complete estimating functions, commercial project buyout and coordination of material/equipment delivery to site.
• Maintain timely, direct, positive relationship with customers and vendors.
• Maintain relationships with current customers and develop new customers and appropriate markets.
• HVAC system design including heat load calculation, hydraulic calculations, static pressure calculation...etc.).
• Monitored projects and ensured its proper execution.
• Evaluated the engineering drawings and coordinated to install the required equipment.
• Responsible for adherence to scope of work and preparation and closure of change orders as may be necessary. Prepared the submittals required for the materials and ensured that they were in compliance with the specifications.
• Monitored the project and tracked the delivery of the materials to the site, ensured that the shipping schedule meet the project schedule.
• Inspected the material and escalated all issues to the consultants.
• Evaluated the job performed and provided the necessary follow up for payments.
• Developed drawings for the job close out and prepared the O&M manuals during project handover Scheduled the project and performed monthly audits and ensured that the project timeline was maintained.
• Documented project progress and submitted all financial projects to management.
• Perform project management duties including budget preparation, schedule preparation and monitoring and other project guidance to achieve timely and cost effective completion of assigned project(s).
• Work shop manager & team leader to handle all mechanical, electrical, plumping problems and for doing all kind of fabricating work
• Performed routine maintenance inspections of equipment to identify and respond to problems in a timely manner, thus preventing breakdowns.
• Provided solutions and fixed equipment malfunctioning, system faults and network errors - Used root-cause-failure techniques, corrective actions, modifications and performed replacements and/or new installation.
• Assigned personnel and technical support teams to sites requiring 24/7 maintenance.
• Worked with company’s vendors and supervised subcontractors during various maintenance projects to ensure proper completion of work performed at customers’ facilities.
• Utilized different reliability and testing strategies in plants to maintain and improve operation’s profitability.
