Strategy and Planning:
• Analyze, document, and improve workflows, processes, and standards

I am working in NATCAP-II project as Database Manager, which is a project of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) implemented by Ministry of Economic Affairs Division, Government of Pakistan.
My main responsibilities are
• Managing Development Assistance Database (DAD), a web portal for foreign funded projects Information Management.
• Supervision of DAD portal upgrade by vendor, Synergy International Systems (synisys.com) this includes writing requirements, design UI and test deliverable.
• WEBMASTER of portal www.dadpak.org (DAD).
• I am working and coordinating with international Donors' (DFID, USAID, Norwegian Embassy AusAID, etc) focal persons.
• I am working to integrate DAD portal with other Donor's Database like United Nations RC OneView Database and Government's IT systems
My Main Achievements are
• I have developed prototype for “Single Reporting Format (SRF)” for humanitarian projects” to capture Aid funding and humanitarian activities in Pakistan for IDPs Crisis and July 2010 Floods. This database was developed in consultation with Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) KP Province of Pakistan and United Nations Office of the humanitarian Co-ordination (UNOCHA), . Currently, this system is live with NDMA.
• Supervised a team of software developers throughout many projects for example Human Resource Management System (HRIS) for National Implementation Modality (NIM) Unit.
• I have developed a database for nominations reporting Foreign Trainings Officers database for Government of Pakistan.
• I have developed File Tracking and Task Management System and trained 200 persons on the software.
• I have delivered many training sessions on MS Office application i.e. Word, Excel and Power Point
• I have developed IT Policy and install IT infrastructure
ICONSystems Private limited Pakistan (www.iconsystems.pk) is SCADA Systems software development center of AnConsult AS Norway. This office is fulfilling the backoffice working, remote office online services and software development needs of AnConsult Norway. The company was formed in Feb 2008. The company is engaging in software development for web, desktop, mobile, telecommunication, SCADA/HMI application development, maintenance, trainings and consulting.
My main responsibilities were
• Overall management of country office in Islamabad, Pakistan, HR hiring and technology related decisions of the company
• Monitoring the process of software development and do necessary decisions in project/team structure during the project to meet the deadlines
• Coordinate with offshore sales team and analyze client’s requirements. Development of software product presentations
• Development of complex algorithms for automated conversion of Old PLC based systems to new PLC systems
• Development Quality Systems procedures for software quality assurance and hiring quality human resource
My Main Achievements were
• Development of automated conversion systems from DOX-5 to DOX -10 systems
• Development of Real time SMS / WAP/ GPRS gateway application (RTL Gateway) for Different Mobile telcos
• Development of innovative product to update stock from a suppliers FTP server to on-line web-shop through windows service
• Hiring of average 15-20 staff members including programmers in two years

My main responsibilities were
• Overall management of country office in Islamabad, Pakistan, HR hiring and technology related decisions of the company
• Coordinate with sales team and make leads to successful clients.
• Analysis of client’s IT requirements and development of prototypes for web, desktop and mobile based applications and development of laying out information dissemination on screens, program flow and visual feedback of the user.

Reason for Leaving: After 8 years given to company, I wanted to explore new areas of technology and platforms esp. Telecommunications, SCADA and Real time Systems
