IGD is a research and training charity that sits at the heart of the grocery industry. I’m part of its trading subsidiary that provides commercial services, and the profits generated from these activities fund the charity part of the organisation.

Main Responsibilities:
* Producing unique pieces of insight on the SupplyChainAnalysis platform around the latest trends in supply chain
* Identifying best-practice developments through networking in the industry
* Participating in webinars and roundtable sessions around key supply chain topics
* Liaising regularly with supply chain professionals to understand their priorities and challenges
* Taking a customer-focused approach by reaching out to IGD subscribers to improve the quality of our research
* Supporting the wider research and solutions programmes at IGD, such as client-specific projects

Key Contributions:
* Producing a project that looked at the effect of the sustainability agenda on supply chain functions
* Producing a project about sustainability’s practices of a client’s competitors
* Working in a cross-functional team that looked at ways to increase the number of page views for our sites
* Delivering demonstrations of the SCA service to IGD subscribers

Customer Availability Manager à Cinram Novum Ltd / Aptean Ltd

Cinram Novum is a supply chain solutions provider in the home entertainment industry, with experience in fulfillment and distribution. Due to an acquisition, I transferred to Aptean Ltd, a US-based provider of enterprise software solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
* Working on behalf of major clients, the such of The Walt Disney Company France & Benelux, Electronic Arts France and UCA (Universal Columbia Alliance) as a Customer Availability Manager for their Home Entertainment (HE) products across multiple accounts (Carrefour, Boots, Debenhams, Easons, Dunnes, WHS, One Stop, amongst others)
* Managing HE inventory levels within the main retail outlets via the Vendor Managed Inventory process
* Executing on a regular basis benchmark analysis on key new release titles based on previous similar titles
* Working with the Demand Planning and Distribution teams to ensure weekly forecasts are correct and realistic
* Working on Carrefour´s ´PROLOG´ project implementation on the Vision system side
* Liaising regularly with the internal software developers team regarding system improvement projects
* Working closely with National Account Managers in building and implementing inventory management plans
Key Contributions:
* Frequently exceeding the customers KPI´s requirements (unless external factors)
* Effectively involved in driving successful system improvement (building initial requirements, testing and validating)
* Reducing shipments to Carrefour France by -20% whilst maintaining similar level of sales.
* Reducing returns rate by 10% across the accounts pool that are under my supervision

Procurement Coordinator à Wealmoor Ltd

Main Responsibilities:
* Managing purchase orders of exotic fruits and vegetables

* Cutting the cost of ad-hock deliveries by -15%
* Overall supplier on-time delivery improvement by 20% through continuous monitoring of the parties included in the shipment process (suppliers, 3PL providers, clearing agents)
* Successful management of complex claims pertaining to faulty batches

Kaizen and 5S Training Coordinator / Supply chain coordinator à Groupe Renault

Main Responsibilities:
* Organising and running theoretical and practical workshops to shop floor managers on how to improve the efficiency of their areas through Kaizen and 5S principles
* Implementing a follow-up process to ensure the successful completion of improvement projects on the shop floor
* Dealing on a regular basis with 3PL providers to ensure timely deliveries of spare parts
* Coordinating with numerous suppliers regarding order placements and agreeing shipment details
* Evaluating local suppliers’ ability to provide the products required and determining the course of action if corrective measures are necessary
Key Contributions:
* Key member of a cross-functional team which included procurement, logistics, maintenance, production and finance that looked successfully at adapting new operating procedures to the new workload of the plant (following a NPI) and ensuring their standardisation to provide an output at the required quality standards
* Training more than 80% of shop floor managers in Kaizen
* Updating 85% of the production unit´s operating procedures based on Renault´s standards
* Full appraisal of 40% of total supplier pool related to my category
