Running and coordinating Three commercial clinical trials at the Metabolic Medicine Research Unit of Imperial College London, my role involves:
Prepare study materials including, but are not limited to, informed consent document, case report forms (CRFs), enrolment logs, and drug/device accountability logs.
Establish and organise study files, including but not limited to, regulatory binders, study specific source documentation and other materials.
Review and develop a familiarity with the protocol, e.g., study proceedings and timelines, inclusion and exclusion criteria, confidentiality, privacy protections.
Assist PI in communication of study requirements to all individuals involved in the study. Provide appropriate training and tools for study team members.
Collect documents needed to initiate the study and submit to the sponsor.
Screen subjects for eligibility using protocol specific inclusion and exclusion criteria.
Coordinate participants tests and procedures.
Collect data as required by the protocol and complete Case Report Forms.
Manage the day to day activities of the study including problem solving, communication and protocol management.
Collaborate with PI to respond to any audit findings and implement approved recommendations.
Hosted a number of TV programmes:
Express: a travel and culture TV series aimed at expolring various European cities and meeting some of the most inspiring Iraqi personalities living in each visited city.
ATM, SuperBox, Mobile, and BatLive: entertainment TV programmes.
Live coverage of the New Year's Eve in London every year since 2007.
Laboratory administrative responsibilities
Collection, preparation, processing and storage of human and in vivo specimens.
Collection, data entry using InForm version 4.6 and Medidata Rave, and analysis of psychological questionnaires
Diet counselling and lifestyle changes sessions with patients.
Monitoring of patients weight, waist circumference, blood profiles and overall well-being.
Drug accountability and maintenance of the databases.
Support of the postdoctoral students.
