Provide leadership and direction as a Regional Manager-Western Region of the company engaged in business of manufacturing and distribution of Non-Carbonated Beverages Drinks & Confectionery, Brands (RANI, VIMTO, BARBICAN, HANI & WRIGLEYS) and producing US $ 1 billion in Annual Sales Revenue with total staff strength of 1100.
• Responsible for Managing, planning, developing and implementation of strategic plans and programs for ensuring effective Sales, Operations, P&L, and the team management in the Western Region.
• Assess & analyze operating cost of the Region operations and provide effective solutions and support for enhancing the sales.
• Responsible for immediately identifying, recommending and implementing corrective measures to insure achievement of Company’s Sales & Marketing Objective in terms of distribution development.
• Responsible for providing a continuous/cohesive flow of market intelligence from markets in the territory on competitor activities and pricing, market characteristics and trends, price waterfalls, benchmarking reports, distribution and visibility by conducting market surveys.
• Analyzed sales statistics in order to formulate policy and to assist marketing in promoting sales.
• Traveled extensively across the Region.
Manage and grow a family Confectionery wholesale business with over than 20 distributing Vans.
• Managing 20 free lance Vans by incentivizing them to sell more in an area allocated to each one of them.
• By focusing on one item which gives us the maximum return on investment sometimes.
• Reviewing daily the results and the market feedback.
• Training them to enhance their skills in negotiation and merchandising by selecting hot spots.
