Working in CESK is an opportunity providing a holistic therapeutic exercises and training to students with different diagnosis and levels emphasis on client-centered and strength-based care.
• Served as instructional leader of the department; assist department staff regarding curriculum, instructional strategies, use data to determine student needs and increase student achievement; assist with professional developmental needs.
• Covers Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Nurse Department.
• Take part in student testing and IEP meetings.
• Demonstrate professional leadership within the department.
• Conduct regular weekly department meeting.
• Act as the point person to coordinate services and transition to different Specialist.
• Oversee the Team Meeting process and adherence to Individual Education plans from each department.
• Responsible for seeing that all timelines are met and all required paperwork is completed.
• Recognize that student learning must be the focus of all school programs and activities.
• Provide assistance to students already in special education allowing them to benefit from specially designed educational programs both in Conductive English School and Conductive Rehabilitation Center.
• Supports student’s ability to gain access to general education curriculum in accordance with his/her IEP’s and function across all educational settings.
• Used problem solving approach to task analyze educational activities in order to help the student participate more successfully and access he educational environment.
• Serve and develop a rehabilitation programs to help rebuild lost skills and restore confidence in school and in home.
• Write reports and attend multidisciplinary case meetings to plan and review ongoing treatment and IEP’s.
• Manage a caseload, prioritizing needs and completing administrative tasks such as student records.
