Organize, confirm, process, and conduct all guest check-ins/check-outs, room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations.
Secure payment; verify and adjust billing.
Activate and file room keys. Process all guest requests and relay messages. Print contingency lists to have a record of all guests in case of emergency.
Identify and explain room features to guests; supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest.
Ensure that any outstanding requests or problems from the previous day receive priority and are resolved.
Run and review daily reports/logs. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Accept and record wake-up call requests and deliver to appropriate department.
Count bank at beginning and end of shift; secure bank. Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges; provide change.
Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, and vouchers.
Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers. Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
Greet customers entering establishment and assist them locate various products and pricing.
Resolve customer queries.
Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners.
Develop hardware sales opportunities and maintain customer relationships in the defined customer territory.
Promote and evangelize our products to customers, partners and internal audiences.
Work as a member of systems sales team to identify and win new systems business.
Develop sales plan that provides complete territory and sector specific coverage.
Develop appropriate sales programs and solutions; maintain up-to-date competitive information and regional success stories.
Meet, greet and assist guests’ and V.I.P’ S on arrival with or without reservation or booking and co-ordinate transportation requirements to the hotel.
Selling of rooms as airport walk-in and making reservation.
Follow up of guests’ lost baggage or item and arranging for delivery to the hotel unto their respective room or apartment.
Check in and check out of guests, assign rooms and confirm reservations.
Liaise closely with the Visa Officer for visit visa application and the Visa Clerk for all typing required and translations where necessary
Expedite the guest entry to the country by ensuring entry visas etc. are correct and have full and up to date knowledge of the visa procedures
Promote and maintain good working relation with airline desk, customs, immigration and other airport personnel’s
Carry the daily arrival and departure report in order to monitor guest movement.
Baggage Transfer Coordinator.
Meet, greet and assist guests requiring special assistance for instance the Invalids, Unaccompanied Minors, Expectant Mothers, Infants, and VIP's through immigration, customs, baggage claim up to their mode of transport depending on departures or arrivals.
Assist in check-in formalities for departing and Transit passengers.
Assist in final boarding procedures including making boarding announcements.
Escort customers to their tables.
Present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
Inform customers of daily specials.
Follow up on customers order and other requirements.
Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
Serve food and/or beverages to patrons;
Prepare and serve specialty dishes/greeting snack at tables as required.
Prepare dining table for new guests, i.e. with cutleries, condiments and tableware.
Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
