Applying my expertise and knowledge to fortify and enhance the company abilities and understanding of the QHSE facet in line with the organizational vision and business requirements through management of a highly pro-active team of specialists within the fields of Safety and Quality Management for the company operations in Africa, M.E. and Asia.. Areas of responsibilities include Passenger Hospitality and Lounges, Cargo and Logistics Operations, Ramp Safety related to Aircraft Ground Handling Operations alongside General Occupational Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Control in their many forms.
Responsible for the leadership of BAC's team involved with health, safety and environmental management issues, our daily operations include proactively working with departments involved in smooth running of the airport operations, airport terminal, administrative headquarters, aircraft engineering and cargo departments both within our company and along side stakeholders both governmental and from the private sector. Tasks include maintaining the airport safety management system therefore ensuring compliance, safety training, accident / incident investigations, audit, inspection, root cause risk analysis .Responsible for ensuring employees and contractors are operating safely and in line with all relevant, law, legislation and best practice on behalf of the company senior management. New tasks taken on in 2015 include working closely with both the consultant and project management company's towards the operations of all health and safety aspects involved with the airport modernization program, a multi million dollar construction project at Bahrain International Airport scheduled to last over several years.
Successfully gaining certification of OHSAS18001 for BAE Systems in South Western Saudi Arabia. Managing all aspects of the day to day operational safety and environmental issues coving the company business units employees plus their dependants in areas including domestic compounds, headquarters, facilities and customer work areas.
