On a shift basis, maintain close and regular contact with DCA Safety & Security Personnel, and act dnata key contact person for all Safety issues related to or impacting on dnata specifically; including Emergency Response and Ramp Safety Regulatory Compliance.
Promote a team approach to achieving dnata Safety goals and objectives, by actively participating in the Manager Airport Services shift meetings.
Responsible for undertaking regular Inspections and Audits of the operation involving people compliance to SOPs, and Safety-checks on equipment conditions & serviceability.
Participate in accident and incident investigations alongside Group Safety and support the investigative process as required.
In-line with the Corporate Integrated Management System initiate 'Hazard and Risk Management' reports on process failures, inadequate operating procedures, work area design, and facilities, as observed during operational performance for further management review.
Accountable for maximizing the utilization of resources and providing the dynamic Resource Allocation plan to the Operational Shift in-Charge, by optimally allocating the key operational resources (including Manpower, Equipment, and Facilities) on the day of operation.
Accountable for ensuring that the allocation of resources is undertaken independently, without prejudice, and in-live with the planned business needs, the dynamic real-time operational demands, and the unscheduled customer requirements; whilst achieving the targeted levels of the current service level agreements.
Accountable for managing the Allocated resources (Manpower, Equipment, and Facilities) on the flight; and ensuring the safe unloading and loading of the aircraft on the airside.
Responsible for supervising the loading and off-loading of aircraft in accordance with the loading instructions, liaising with all departments and sections where required. Ensures that any loading deviation is authorised by the Dispatcher/Load Control before the release of an aircraft.
Strictly comply with all relevant company Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Airport Authority Standards and Regulatory requirements. Responsible for all Safety issues and ensures that all Team members comply with the laid down Safety regulations at all times. Immediately reports to the Dispatcher any damage to aircraft, equipment or any injury to a team member.
Briefs team members, allocates tasks and oversees activities. Directs the multi-tasked team to undertake all turnaround activities, participates as required, and keeps the dispatcher updated on progress.
Carries out on-going performance management by undertaking reviews & assessments, identifying training needs and coaching and supporting the on-job-training of all team members
our job is a 100 % customer services . we follow the passenger from the moment he enter the aerport for checking till the moment he board the aircraft and that including the extra services as special handling and marhaba services, checking, boarding etc
Accountable for providing customer service to passengers in Dubai International Airport (Check in, Boarding and transit) respecting all the time the standards operations procedures followed by dnata as well as the Safety regulations followed by Department of Civil Aviation.
