• Produce detailed risk assessments at the start of all projects, capturing the lessons learnt from previous builds promoting continuous improvement
• Key Projects and achievements
o Utilised network to contract key E&I, Quality and design resources to recover in-hand contracts that were on track for major delay when joining Crewshield.
o Revised the Safe-Haven build design to reduce assembly time whilst maintaining the approved wall construction as per the STANAG 2280 & 4569 approvals
o Developed the quick assembly watch tower for deployment and assembly in hostile zones to greatly reduce the risk to the on-site personnel.
o Produced bespoke costing system to allow sales team to turn around basic offers in reduced period
o Produced, developed and implemented the company Quality Management System and for which the company achieved ISO9001:2015 approval within a 6-month period.
o Developed the Crewshield H2S refuge design utilising my extensive oil and gas industry knowledge along with the gained ballistic knowledge for an industry first duel use Zone 2 refuge that not only is blast resistant but also close proximity explosive and ballistic resilient.
o Employed additional design resource and expanded companies design software capabilities with 3D modelling software and analysis

• Responsible for the successful Project Management of high value capital equipment ranging in value from 500 thousand to over 18 Million USD with 3 direct reports and extensive matrix of support staff ranging from 3 to 12 depending on project size/complexity
• Extensive experience in the supply of Produced Water Systems, Early Production Facilities, Wellhead Desanders, Deoilers, Gas Dehydration Units for both end users and EPCs in the Oil and Gas Industry including Samsung Engineering Co Ltd, DNO ONGC, Dragon Oil, Cairn India, Hal Offshore and Storengy UK Ltd.
• Highly effective at liaising with customers from the ITT, proposal, pre-order and order stage of the project, through to factory acceptance testing and site commissioning of the completed packages and ranging from concise email / telecon correspondence to face-to-face discussions for technical clarifications, progress meetings and design reviews.
• Production of comprehensive reports for all stakeholders highlighting all risks at the earliest opportunity detailing the mitigating actions, in accordance with the risk management plan, to reduce said risks
• Specialist in Fast Track supply, working with end users to ensure their exacting delivery requirements are met without compromise to safety, quality, performance or cost over runs
• Led review of client specifications and internal work scopes produced for the purpose of purchasing and manufacturing equipment to the end users requirements whilst ensuring the specified equipment will be purchased within budget and delivered within the project timescales.
• Highly skilled in the detailed interpretation of comprehensive P&ID’s/PFD for various system types and advising the engineering team about the operation of the system and the specific client requirements.
• Wide ranging HAZOP/HAZID and Risk Analysis experience for Safe Area/Hazardous Area installations for both Onshore and Offshore installations.
• Responsible for the inspection of equipment ranging from reviewing welding, pressure testing, painting and general NDE procedures of basic equipment in accordance with international specifications i.e. ASME, AWS, NACE etc to witnessing/participating in full factory acceptance tests (FAT) of project specific purchased equipment as well as the testing of complete systems/packages with the customer/end user representatives.
• Line manager/mentor/training co-ordinator for all Project Engineers leading to their career development into Snr Project Engineers / Project Managers
• Well respected within the company and seen as the ‘go to’ person for fabrication feasibility discussions and outside the box thinking to optimize heavy fabrication processes whilst ensuring safety is maintained at all times as well as for hands-on site inspection in field rectification work utilising the available resources to ensure plant operability.

• Responsible for the Project Management Mechanical Engineering of high value capital equipment ranging in value from £100k to over £1M. leading teams of engineers/ draughtsman. Primary focus on the Electrocatalytic Chrlorpac® Concentric Tubular Electrode (CTE) and Parallel Plate Electrodes (PPE) technologies
• Developed the handling manual for the IECEx (ATEX) Certified SP50 PPE units
• Project Engineer in the design, manufacture and delivery of a Zone 1 IECEX (ATEX) Certified purge pressurized busbar system for the interconnection between the Transformer rectifier and 2 off SP50 PPE units for an operating case of 84VDC @ 4300Amps.
• Produced the 3D model and utilized my previous employer to detail, fabricate a full 316SS Baseframe c/w Titanium piping for a replacement Electrochloriation system that had to be compact and dismantlable to be lowered through multiple decks.
• CE marking experience, specifically working with the requirements of ATEX and PED and the challenges associated with a technology that produces Hydrogen as a byproduct.
• Part of North Sea Pilot Plant team to ascertain if the Gulf of Mexico rental market could be transposed to the north sea market with special interest in Nutshell Media and DGF Filtration technologies
• Responsible for ensuring all systems, equipment and individual components have been fully checked in accordance with international export regulations and controls c/w relevant export licenses for dual use equipment applied for and in place.

• Produced and managed project specific documentation and procedures as per stringent client requirements.
• Produced P&IDs based on client requirements and developed these into the General Arrangement and fabrication drawings as per the project requirements.
• Purchased materials / major equipment in-conjunction with project specific requirements and drawings produced, working within strict budgets and time scales.
• Developed and implemented the use of de-coiled Laser cut plate for the Lube Oil Systems with all nozzle positions cut, edges prepared to minimise on shop-floor work and material wastage
• Part of the team that worked with Special Metals to carry out automated weld overlay on Inconel Billets for specialist tube extrusions where internal material composition was different to the outer on only a 2mm wall
